I'm gonna give it another shot on the next episode and hope for the best.
Wait, you feel like you don't want to support a channel because in 1 video they didn't talk about something which wasn't even the topic of the video. The topic of this video was if the Superbowl commercial slogan was true or not, the topic of this video had nothing to do with the ethical problems of Temu. That topic would require it's own video to be properly explained. Would you rather some 30 seconds that briefly go over Temu's ethical problems or a 15 minute video doing the same thing? Either way if that's the kind of video you're looking for I'm sure you can find it on UA-cam from some other channel. What I'm trying to say is if you're going to cancel your support over 1 video where they didn't talk about something that wasn't even the topic of the video is a bit ridiculous.
I kinda wish the team had handled this video differently. Instead of ACTUALLY purchasing from Temu and thereby sinking real money into this super corrupt and harmful business, I wish the channel had just used footage from other sources and talked about the unsavory truth of this company. I like the fact that this video sought to educate the public about the shady business practices of Temu, and that they also gave some fantastic real world financial advice in the process. But I wish the premise of this video was just “let’s expose temu and teach our audience how to be smart with their shopping,” instead of “watch us spend tons of money with this morally depraved company, and then let us tell you how unethical they are!” Feels like a missed opportunity.
i dont know what it was, but when she started hosting style theory i was really excited. i love her and shes a total icon. but 13:00 in i realized, i see the off feeling i’m also getting watching the new style theory content. so, if we were looking at this objectively, matpat would have a method as to determine why you cant be a billionaire with temu. i know you may be thinking, “but random internet person, she did”. well, kind of. you see, mat pat would have created a demographic as to what criteria each item’s category would meet (if that makes sense) to consider “feeling” in a certain way. so he would make his own scientific method. i havent paid much attention to the other channels lately, and i know we have new hosts, which i accept and embrace. but all things considered, i miss the more science-y aspects. i love amy, amazing host, gets me laughing, and is overall entertaining person. but with this being said, maybe adding in more methods to reaching certain conclusions could boost channel morale. but either way i still find her content entertaining ❤

Man, this is tough. I feel like this is a huge miss. Temu has a ton of serious ethical concerns that go completely unmentioned, such as child labor, environmental impact, and potential privacy concerns. I also had an issue with the methodology when it came to the electric razor last week. I genuinely want to continue to watch and support this channel like all the other theorist ones, but maybe this change wasn't for me.
Ah yes, the episode that was shouldered on the backs of underpaid children, haven't we waited for this one?
Indeed!
Lol dramatic much?
I wish this video went into the potential dangers of using temu and the ethics of it.
Oi, not in the bounds of this channel. In addition, there are numerous videos that show the dangers of TEMU.
I genuinely appreciate someone doing a deeper dive into the website.
