This year I couldn’t go and see my mom since I recently moved to a new city. So I called her to tell her thanks 💕 Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in the world!
What a sweet video! I'm glad that your mom is doing well. 😊 Also, I was surprisingly able to understand much of the conversation without relying completely on the subtitles! What a great feeling, I guess all this Japanese studying is finally paying off! 😄
As a turkish, i found this too formal but also i can feel your mom's love to you. The only emotional thing in this conversation is your mother's affection. It's interesting but i respect it of course ❤
even she didnt tell ilove you (her mother) you can really feel how much she loves her daughter just hearing those words(are you doing well?take care of your health) makes me a teary eye❤❤happy mothers day ❤❤❤
As a Brazilian, what seemed a little strange to me is the fact that she didn't say "Dad" when he picked up the phone and the fact that her father didn't say "Daughter" when he heard her voice and she said who she was. Is this a culture thing? I'd like some help with that, please.
what i've inferred is it was a landline or other shared home phone, so she had to state who she was as her number wasn't saved like a cell phone and her dad was quick to direct sayaka to her mom because that's who she asked for first. it was also mother's day! he may have been expecting his daughter to call for her mom!
I cant wish my mother this year because last year she passed away because of cancer I would like to say to my mom I love you mom When my mom was there i didn't show much kindness to her but after she left i understand how she care about me She was taken to the chemotherapy first time but she passed away in the middle of the treatment but that day i went to school and i didn't speak or call her that day but i feel too guilty also Sorry mom
Your mom sounds so adorable. Even though the call was about her, the first thing she does is ask about your health. She's such a mom (in a good, cute way, the best way). 共用してくれてありがとう
We have Father's Day, too. But my daughter keeps forgetting about it. I never say a thing, but it hurts a little because I love her just as much as her mother does, if not more. Happy Parents' Day, folks.
Hey! Happy father's day in advance! I am not much of an expressive girl. So never wish my father expect on birthday and festivals But had I known my father feels this way, I would go and wish him and hug him right away.
@@upcomingversion Thank you very much. You should do it. It means more than you could ever imagine. It does to me. And I think your dad feels the same way.
I have no idea why japanese peole are extremely polite. I really love my mom but I dont speak like that and my mom neither too.We speak informal ways in our family. Happy Mothers' Day ❤
That's sweet. Here I was waiting for you to say I Love U to your mom & waiting for her reaction. I know it's not common but ive seen online some funny reactions jajaja

It's like I was watching an anime I almost forgot myself for A second😂😂 thank you so much sayaka sensei❤❤❤❤
So I have a question. Is it not normal to say “I love you” to parents or partners when you say bye on the phone or in person?? Or just random “I love you”??
Her immediately asking if you're well is the most mom thing ever.
Yep, first thing my mom always says when I call her. Every. Single. Time.
That's called 'furigana'
@@echoawoo7195huh??
@@CamiloMacayaawww thats so wholesome. I wish my mom asked that sometimes to haha
Japanese accent is so sweet😆
They say a lot of thank you. That's so polite.
i love how you put hiragana translation with every kanji, also useful to hear actual convos especially as a beginner
That would be considered as furigana(振り仮名), not just hiragana, as sometimes it can also be in katakana.
@@Hardstyle_Queen
Can you explain when can it be in katakana? Is there a rule to it?
Untrue @@Hardstyle_Queen Kanji is also hiragana, and furigana just means supplementary kana it's not a new alphabet 😂
@@ParadiseDB7 Kanji is NOT hiragana. Furigana is a reading aid usually in hiragana. You’re arguing with a native Japanese from Osaka here.
