Unlike most other meta deck matchups, I would say Yubel is actually not that hard for Striker to deal with. Drawing a backrow wipe (which I do run a lot of) against it is almost always a win as well, assuming no Maxx "C" or anything like that.
@@auctaway: For me, as long as Escape gets baited out or I draw Mythical Beast Garuda (in-archetype MST), then it’s a straight forward win with Endymion’s pop. But you make it look like your entire deck is built to counter it. It’s really cool.
With this deck list do you have any tips against voiceless voice. I have a hard time against them and tear too(when they have mudora and keldo in grave)
Change Change of Heart and other cards you don't feel are impactful to Droplet or Raigeki/more copies of Lightning Storm/Heavy Storm. Tear is usually decided by how many shufflers they mill and it isn't really a skillful matchup.
Trying to decide which pot to use, avarice seems to be dead in my hand more often than it actually adds back monsters in a meaningful way - way fewer games go long and grindy than games that I need a guaranteed draw 2. Do you prefer one over the other between avarice and desires?
I prefer Avarice, but if you want to be realistic, Desires will probably be useful more often. I just don't like the randomness that Desires introduces in a toolbox deck that relies heavily on a lot of one ofs.
I noticed that when you play vs a snake eyes variant, you don't immediately use imperm on ash. do you only use it on ash if they start with diabellstar?
There's way too much to consider for a question like this. Not even exclusive to Snake-Eyes, I use hand traps where I think they will be most effective based on my hand and what I'm playing against. Something like Imperm also serves the purpose of a board breaker if you think your opponent is going to end on Apollousa. Against 60 card decks in Master Duel, Snake-Eye Ash will also often just be used to make Verte into Curious, making me care a lot less about what it is going to do compared to other Snake-Eye decks.
The card is fine, but I don't really think it has much purpose outside of Fire King. You can already beat Fire King normally, so I personally wouldn't run it, but if you like the card you should try it
The worst hands in Striker are the ones with multiple starters and I feel I lose most of the games where I draw multiple Raye. When I am able to play and need to draw good cards off Engage, Raye is the worst card to get off the bonus Engage draw. I saw lists running 1-2 Raye so I decided to try it. The difference isn't really noticeable and it feels like the bricking issue comes up much less.
I'm going second and my goal is to break the opponent's board and cut off further plays, which leads to a few problems: -If they stop playing because of Maxx "C", the interruptions that Striker puts up are not enough to deal with a strong deck on the next turn and Striker is unlikely to kill an opponent that passed on minimal interruptions. If they committed all their resources and I got rid of them, there's a lot less to worry about going into their turn and the game is often won at that point. It's better to let them play because of this in my opinion. -Maxx "C" is statistically unlikely to resolve and I need all the cards in my hand to be live to beat any meta relevant deck. -In the case of something like Ash, I can save it for Maxx "C" on my turn. If someone takes the Maxx "C" challenge there is nothing I can draw into that will save me because I don't want to run other hand traps. The card is broken, but it does not contribute to my gameplan at all. I would always rather have it be a board breaker or some other consistency card.
@@auctawayWhile I do agree with your reasoning I like Maxx C to bait my opponents called by or Ash. Like that, I'm much more likely to go uninterrupted in my plays.
You make Yubel matchups look even easier.

So much mileage on those lightning storms
nice video, do you only play sky strikers?
For MD, pretty much. I sometimes use Vaalmonica or Branded for dailies, or a different deck if Striker can't play under an event banlist
Awesome gameplay !
6:35 No Rulkalos float?
Excelent videos as always, have a great day
@@Jyxero I imagine he's playing around Thrust there since that's the one card he auto loses to
For draw I get it, but wouldn't Snow cover CoH scenario?
Regardless, is not like we can go and interview your opponent...
@@Jyxero If Rulkallos comes back and I have Thrust I can search Engage and he's in an awful situation

would u rather run 2 raye or 2 linkage?
Either is fine, I'm just trying 2 Raye because I saw it in other lists

do you think typhon is a good option for the extra deck ?
It's fine to run. I personally don't really like it in Striker, but other people have success with it.
Amazing performance as always
Great replays as always, but wow I did not expect to see you cut the third Raye. Could you explain a bit why?

@@auctaway I see, I guess with Engage at 3 plus Thrust the consistency issue of not opening a starter isn’t that much of an issue anymore. Thanks 🙏
Seems like the "rule of two" (Aside of Starwars), where you want to see as many options as possible...
Sorry if you already answered this one somewhere else:
Why did you drop maxx c?
Btw, really like your sks gameplay, you are an eminence with the deck.
