Mushrooms are like that...Aloo ki tarah galte nahi...when you eat it will be soft.. ye aise hi hote hai tamatar ya curd ki baat nahi hai...chahe aap kitna bhi cook kar lo..kuch hi der mein khane Wale ho jate hai. Woh Pak chuke hai...you can eat.

Should we not add mint leaves along with coriander while frying the curry ?? Or just add during dhum,in this video you added only during dhum , is that enough?!
Yes...it will added the flavour only...if you don't want just skip it or add less qty. Also it will not taste bad as you will drain the water later and most of the part will go.

You can use any gud brand...i used Kohinoor basmati rice. Fortune basmati is also gud.

1 cup is generally equal to 225gm to 250 gm. So 2 cups of rice is roughly 500gm.

Tried biryani was super ..but i feel masala is less for 2 cups basmati rice ..had to keep it aside leftover rice after covering the masala with rice
