You were talking around 0:50 about it being great that we have fixtures now that can change color instead of being just one color. This is even more emphasized once you introduce lights that have RGB plus White, Amber and UV, especially the ones with the Hex (6-in-1) LEDs. These are immensely greater fixtures than the ones with the array of red, green, and blue LED's that are separate within the fixture. Electronic master dimmer is icing on the cake when you are looking to step up your lighting game from the cheaper fixtures and especially no-name fixtures.

You're really great. Could you please make a video on how to set up lighting when you don't have that many moving fixtures. eg. PARs, Blinders, RGB Spots, Led Bars... I often do smaller events so i have only a back truss and a pair of windups in the front

Valentin !1! I have small, medium and large setups with fixed position base. My small and large is non moving heads. I set up my back lights as either a fan or crossing. The crossing is aimed at points on the stage(3) and each colour is a spot. I usually have only one or 2 colours on the backlights. I tend to use more down angle near center to point at drummer and colour downstage with the end fixtures. My front crank trees usually only have 4 fixtures each, so I aim them towards band members crossing the center. It’s a pain to get all 7 members covered with the small system. I’m usually crossing or trying to light up 3 spots on front and 2 spots on back. Drummer is either ignored or gets some front as the focus cross to the bass or keyboard. I have 16 pars on front with the large system and lights to spare to all 6 points. I only use moving heads for movement, highlighting, or 2nd and 3rd colour. I often run intensity patterns on the back to add movement when I have no movers.

Hey there, I'm choosing a light pink gel to make my actors look healthy but not too pinked out. What Rosco color would you suggest for a stable full show par can that is on full time for general stage light that would make folks look great and 'close to white' yet healthier/younger etc. Is 'surprise pink' too dark? or R3409 Roscosun 1/4 CTO? Is medium pink too dark? Thanks for any help or answers. Joshua

Not to be too snarky, but that would be the point of a "101" level tutorial :)

Hey man, I have watched 4 of your videos and I'm done. If you want to grow this channel and get more serious viewers watching, you have to STOP RAMBLING ON!!!! Over 30% of your time is rambling! Get to the point! Be concise or you will forever be teaching newbies! I get the feeling you know what you're talking about, I just can't handle all the talk in between. The title of your vids should reflect the content! Good luck with this! Cheers
