Hi there I own 2 polar 10’s and I’m having a ton of issues live. I can’t get enough sound out of them even with 2. We are using a Yorkville pgm8 mixer with it. We take an xlr out from the first channel of the hk’s and run them into the speaker outs left and right of the mixer. It’s no where near as loud as an inferior system we have as a backup. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I did email service but did not hear back.
@@shaunmcinnis1960 nice. I was looking at either this or an electro voice zlx 15. The line array look really nice for weddings and upscale gigs, but I really just want the most bass for my looping and drum machine.

You'd need to test it out Daniel, but if you were a SoundCaddy fan, we think you'll love POLAR 10! It covers a lot of similar ground but has other tricks up its sleeve too :)
I am a mobile DJ and simply from a portability stand point I like it, I would need two of these for my purposes if I am using blutooth if I connect to one does it automatically connect to both and what is the range distance?
Hi Alexzander. Sure, you can use two with Bluetooth - but you will need to connect the two systems via a link cable first. All this is explained in the POLAR manual should you need more detail (which you can read on our website or comes with the product too!). About the range distance, POLAR 10 has Bluetooth 5, which could be good for 30-40 meters, depending on conditions. That said, we'd always stay closer to make sure, and test in advance...
The amp system is 2000 watts taking that's peak just to clarify what is the RMS wattage out put at max.Just asking incase DJs or musicians have a big room with a lot of people in them.Only reason for asking I do hotels and Christmas venues with 200 to 400 people in them so need details before I buy from my retailer.
Good day. I am interested in one of the products you produce and distribute, which I would like to buy, but I do not find all the information I am interested in about it. I have reviewed a number of reviews of HK audio polar 10/12 systems on the internet and on youtube, and I have also downloaded an information manual for these systems from your official website, but on your official website and information manual I only find the declared 2000W D-Class amplifier for technical specifications. power. How do I guess this is the peak power of this system? Could it be captured what is the power of RMS in these systems?
You say "Polar 10 might look like a line array but, technically speaking, its a point source system. Why is this the case? Is it because the high frequency tweeter in the middle of the line of mid frequency speakers breaks the line array and causes them to act like a point source.
Why is Bluetooth connectivity is week, also when I disconnect from the speaker, I can't reconnect unless I unplug the speaker first. This is very frustrating when my speaker is on the other side of the room.
Hi can two polar tens be linked with backing tracks in stereo and what about latching in stereo effects for vocals, I'm a professional guitarist that uses backing tracks, can I play my guitar rig through in stereo, stereo backing tracks , two mics, and acoustic guitar, will I require an additional mixer. Many thanks
Hi Mario. Well yes, but an additional mixer would be required for the FX. You'd then connect the left out to the left POLAR 10, and the right out to the right POLAR 10 for stereo use!
I'm confused, according to Specs, Is the Lucas nano 600 series Louder than this?.. Cause polar 10 claims 126db peak and if I remember correctly Lucas nano claims to be 131db
I have a question. Took the polar 12 to gig the other night. It was my understanding that switch has to be line to go to extrernal mixer… I couldn’t get alot of sound out. Tried switching it to mic and it came alive, however this is not what the manual dictates. Also my sub cut in and out a few times. Any advice Hk audio? Thanks
Hi, we need some more information to help: what type of mixer did you use? What type of cables? When your mixer has line level outputs ( 99,9% chance it is that way) the switch should definitely be on line. How far did you turn up the master? How far did you turn up the sub level and the gain on the input Chanel’s? Did you use one or two inputs from the mixer?
@@HK_Audio hey. It’s a peavey 24FX. Used an XLR from the mains out.. to channel 1 on the Hk polar 12. On line setting I had to crank it to get to 1/2 the volume of the Bose system plugged into the other side of the mixer… once I put it to mic it came alive. Much more vol. however the subwoofer cut out and few times. Hk mounted max 20 ft away from Mixer
Depending on how much output you send from the peavey keeping it on line is correct. And it’s also correct that you need to crank it up Polar 12 master to 0dB or higher, Chanel gain to at least 12 o clock, probably more like 2 or 3. When you put it on Mic you will easily override the system, and that’s probably one of the reasons the sub kept cutting out. Have you looked at the display how often the limit warning showed up?
Hi. I'm happy with my polar and I already order the other one, I see in the back that is made in china, my question is ¿ Even if is made in china the quality still the same? That's why it has a good price because is not made in Germany? Do you have another version. That is 100% made in Germany if yes? What is the price? I know polar has 5 years warranty and is amazing!! Also check my channel if you guys want to see the unboxing and the performance in a big yard.
HK Audio replied in a Facebook thread that their version is different from the Chinese one but they have not explained anything about how it is different
heads up! The on-board mixer has no reverb! Otherwise, it's an awesome system
Does the Polar 10 come in white

Go for Shure SM57 the reference mic for live.

Correct, and the output metering of the 24fx should be around 0dB. So the yellow lights should occasionally come on.
if i connect with bluetooth to a dj sistem with my macbook pro mix 2012 what is the delay, its very important to me when i'm mixing a song.
Bluetooth is not reliable to be performing with, at best it should be used for intermission music....

No, not on POLAR 10 - the LUCAS NANO 608i is our system that has built-in reverb.
