I really don’t like this hollower oriented buffs stuff the devs keep doing it’s obvious they do it for the money and don’t care if the player base has to put up with it or not

@@ABanDon69No, but actually yes. When a new battlepass holowear is coming out or has recently come out TiMi will buff the Pokémon in the battlepass to get more people to want to buy it. That's why they took so long to nerf Mewtwo and Zacian, why they still haven't nerfed Umbreon, etc.
I'm not one for 'the devs are milking all the money out of the game before it dies' kind of conspiracies but it's hard to dismiss them when shit like this has been happening for well over a year
Actually it's shadow sneak that is the problem. The ability to just jump onto you from nowhere and stun you so you can't dodge its second move is kinda questioning. But then again it is what also carry its kit super hard.
So removing play rough's invincibility and compensating it with damage reduction and/or lower cd would be good changes.
They just need to get rid of its stun,it's frustrating being stunned by something you can barely see coming

Yup, it's really annoying to play against Mimikyu. With Playrough and it's unite, I kept getting stunned to death as a tank. And when I play as it, at the end it's easy 15 kills.

there is little counter play against both play rough and its unite move, it gets so much move cooldown, is unusually tanky and in a lot of cases can even be more tanky than some defenders while having mobility of a speedster, and is pretty easy to play
at least slowbro is a defender and has a "reason" to have such a busted unite move, but a damage dealer shouldn't be allowed to have such a powerful and useful unite

Also the “nerf” mimikyu got was literally just 2 more seconds on play rough like what a joke it still has invincibility bruh like be for real
remove play rough's invulnerability and make it like a 50% damage reduction while in play rough animation
Remember WHY play rough got BUFF in the FIRST place.
When this fucker ever nerfed in the first place. This mon has been busted from launch and its sickening.

Clearly. It was unsurvivable in a 1 v 1 according to the devs. Cough cough. Never should have been buffed. Hell even the first instance of shadow claw being buffed never needed to happen AND the stupid invulnerability.
Just remove that invincibility shit
And also cancel Mimikyu move when get stun

Truth be told, in a team fight he's kinda weak.
He unites to pick off attackers, but he falls short in a 3v1+ and dies super fast to cc.
I'm new to the game and I just started playing today so I'll try to explain this as best as I can

I don't use play rough I use shadow claw all you have to do is use basic attack once and the cool down is done and if you use basic attack again you can upgrade it and hit multiple pokemon a bunch and it allows me to easily 1v5

I already have the yellow glasses up to level 21 but I'm also getting the black ones and then when I reach level ten the shell
The yellow glasses increases how much damage my moves do and it scales with how much sp. Atk I have
Black glasses gives me a _lot_ of sp. Atk
Shell gives me HP whenever I use my moves successfully it also gives sp. Atk
With the more or less non-existent cold down of shadow claw I won't run out of HP and with the yellow glasses I'll do a ton of damage
I think this should work with others but I can't test it yet

How so pikachu is never invincible he’s unstoppable while volt tackling but he still takes damage

Like shadow claw and sneak I can kind of understand their small buffs, but why they fuck did they buff play rough when the playerbase hated the move

I used Shedinja doll with this build and it seems so annoying to play against
It is definitely a problem and it is annoying. Definitely need nerfs. It’s nice to actually stun them or not allow them to use moves and KO them.

So this one game I was playing as sludge beam venusaur. And the enemy mimikyu just jumped me every time I even tried to get out of my side. And I wasted a unit or 2 on him just for him to play rough and be completely fine both the times.

Can I just say, I always panic when a teammate of mine is stuck in Mimikyu ult and my first though is that “if I hit the Mimikyu ult, my teammatewill be released” haha never worked😅😅😅

Eh, i didnt like that play rough got buffed at all, would like that reverted sure... but with how broken falinks, blaziken, leafeon etc still are i dont think its in need of nerfs tbh. Its annoying to play against, but so is outrage dnite(something you like playing for example), comfey, eldegoss, hoopa, sableye, greedent, slowbro, trevenant, blastoise, crustle, blaziken, falinks, zoroark, dodrio, buzzwole, wiggly, mime, absol, dragapult, espeon, sylveon, glaceon, goodra, mamoswine, inteleon, night slash meow, a9, volt tackle pika, mew, the mewtwos, miraidon and ttar. So where does it stop?
And i dont intent to do some whataboutism here, im simply saying i dont think its bad enough to where it needs nerfs. I wouldnt mind play rough merfs especially, but i just dont see sufficient reason it should be nerfed over some other stuff in the game rn
You literally named half the roaster. It is power creep. Instead of nerfing everything to adjust their power to what it used to be, they try to increase the standard level of power and adjust everything to that. The main issue with this decision of theirs is that they don't touch the old Pokémon or they barely do. And they keep trying to adjust the newest ones( ex and Eeveelutions aside since they are their favourite children and want them to be broken) to this new standard level of theirs while ignoring the ones who truly need a buff
@@solarium4884 yes, i named half the roster to make a point: a lot of the things in this game are incredibly annoying to play against. That in and of itself is not an argument for a nerf. I do agree with your second point though, but nerfing select pokemon isnt solving the issue either, theyll just join the outdated kits in not being able to keep up with powercreep, like lapras currently. Timi just needs to actually balance a lot more things in their balance patches, regardless of where they want the powerlevel to be; They certainly have the time for that with their patch frequency, they just arent doing it. Which hurts me so bad. I want to play machamp way more, but its just too outdated.
@@someone999555 It seems to me that you Like to go 1vs1. Because dragonite outrage Is extremely bad imho. Till level 8 Is useless Unless he Is a jungler 2 level above the other(and still Is bad). Once got outrage he could be unfair in. 1vs1, but get obliterated by anything remotely long range and hasn't the mobility to Chase a good ADC lile cinderace or Mewtwo. Against a Defender Like slowbro he kind of steuggles. It pretty much only Punishes bad players that over extend alone or Need an extremely well coordinated team that use crowd control moves in the Moment he joins the fight. Lol
@@mence5992 1) no, not at all. Annoying is not op or broken, thats precisely my point.
2) what outrage dragonite punishes is melees in general, not 1v1'ers or overextenders. Also, unless you play extreme speed dnite, which i think is a pretty bad move, it really doesnt take until level 8 to come online. It also doesnt struggle with cinderace at all, like whatsoever. And outrage is good against slowbro?!? Tree is way more difficult for outrage dnite to deal with for example, or mamoswine. Regardless, the problem is outrage autos stun way too frequently and are obnoxious af to play against.
Which, if you read what i wrote, youll realize is my point: its annoying. Never said it was broken. But lets continue that line of thought for the sake of this video. What also excels in 1v1s but gets hard punished in less than ideal circumstances for it? Thats right, mimikyu, the mon this video is about and whether it should be nerfed or not. It needs to dive their squishies, avoid any peel working at stopping them, gets hard stopped by cc which even some squishies have, and every tank has, and it usually just straight up dies if it takes shadow sneak at the wrong time; its still a really good, probably even top tier, mon though.
