Multiple Palestine Protestors Arrested at Emergency Rally for Gaza in NYC

- 2.29.24 | By Usman | FINANCIAL DISTRICT, Manhattan- Hundreds of Protesters marched around the Financial District and flooded the subways from Union Sq last night to proster the recent IDF Military conduct taken this week when aid convoy of Gazans getting humanitarian aid was attacked leading to a 100 deaths. The death toll in Gaza according to the authorities there now stands at 30,000 since the conflict began in October. Protesters wanted to highlight their frustrations of the US Governments support of Israel.Several protesters were arrested for not leaving the street.

People,especially young people go through a stage of development when the need to appear to be potent and righteous. Events occur to capture this energy. In my Canadian city, I was so happy to hear the uplifting singing and chanting of the Hare Krishnas. It is beautiful when immigrants, from India, bring positive, society-building culture to their new lands. They sing and celebrate the best of humanity in their gatherings and chanting on the streets.
