Amy Jade Winehouse (14 September 1983 - 23 July 2011) was an English singer and songwriter known for her deep vocals and her eclectic mix of musical genres, including soul (sometimes labelled as blue-eyed soul), rhythm and blues, jazz and reggae. Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning on 23 July 2011 at age 27. Her album Back to Black posthumously became the UK's best-selling album of the 21st century, at that point. In 2012, Winehouse was ranked 26th on VH1's 100 Greatest Women In Music. The BBC has called her "the pre-eminent vocal talent of her generation.

FYI: This song was ORIGINALLY a Spanish song called, "Cuando Vuelva A Tu Lado" (When It Returns To Your Side), written by Maria Grever, the first successful Mexican songwriter... So beautifully sung by many, but best of all, Dinah Washington, A.K.A: Ruth Lee Jones. You are right. My Dad God rest his sweet soul had the original Spanish version as well. He exposed us to all genres of music.Jazz was his passion. He sang and played the trumpet and sax. He was self taught. He could read read music with his gift from above. Many offers and played in big bands in the 60's and 70's. My siblings and I naturally love music.

This is not Amy Winehouse singing in this video but Dinah Washington herself. It's just a collage of Amy's photos over a Dinah song. Just listening to the musical arrangements of the song and the old school style, it's obvious. The same style and sound as other songs from the 50's.
