i need help, my escape key (a small key) sinks in when i press on the right side, it is fine if i press on the middle or the left, what should i do i need my laptop for work and studies i can't afford to return in on warranty which would take time any ideas, i m okay with swapping the components of the screenshot key for example with the escape one as i do use escape quite often and never the screenshot key is it possible to fix one key using the other?

yo, my key cap goes into place but everytime i press the bottom of the keycap that i replace it would just lift up and come out of place. can you help me out? mines is a 15 with the same hinges.
@@robot_ku yes I did but I had to switch it out with a key cap I don't use which was any key cap on the number on the right so my 'c' cap is now a 5 lol
I actually really love the keys and switches on these. Only ever had a red switch RedDragon Keyboard, but I would assume these are similar to really short-travel Browns. Anyone more experienced able to weigh in on that? I really do like these, especially for a laptop.
Hi! I have the exact same laptop as shown in the video but the number keys hinges are upside down for some reason? The tutorial worked for me but the key is flat to the keyboard although it still works there’s no push to it, this is video is a year old, so if anyone sees this got any tips?
Are the two keyboards shown in the video presentation from two different Pavilion laptop models? Because I noticed they have two different types of green brightness, one brighter and more intense and the other less Thanks
I have an HP Pavilion 15" Gaming Laptop, but the inner retainer and key mounting points were a different design than in this video. The removal process is the same, but the installation process is slightly different. For example, the wider mounts were actually on the top of the key for me. SO my advice to other folks... use this video as a reference (it's actually a good video for comparison) and then look at the tiny mounts between the retainer and key. Flip it, rotate it, and restart if it's not working correctly. It's easier than you think!
I have a fujitsu laptop u747 and when I tried to remove the key M successfully I can't put it baack in its place and when I put a diffrent button from the same keyboard in M place it works perfectly again what should I do where I can find a similar button ?

They feel like any other normal membrane keyboard to me, definetley not mechanical

you should try to remove the key and try to place it according to hinges
after fixing also its getting out as hinge sticks out with key itself

no, the laptop has two light modes.
I repaired my ctrl key with a piece of paper and tape. :)

The last step didn't work for me, the Ctrl key cap wont snap into place.
