25 years ago today! First Charlatans concert (of many). Support from (Greenock's own) Whiteout and Pulp, replacing Hole at the last minute as Courtney Love presumably scrambled back to the States while Kurt Cobain was lying low, preparing for the end. The band did a signing in Tower Records the next day, a cheery Jon, Mark and Tim sandwiching a somewhat intimidating Rob Collins (looking very gaunt post-prison) and a slightly morose Martin Blunt, hiding (the after effects of the night before?) behind a pair of shades. Shame this short set was their only visit to Glasgow in the UTOH era as they were really fizzing live - Patrol a beast indeed....
Hazy memories of brilliant night. I literally couldn't get out of bed for the signing. My kind mate took my Easy Life boxed CD along and got it signed.
Patrol is always a beast played live

I love all tracks, particularly Come In Number 21 and Weirdo in this live recording. Thank you for posting!
