I just found your site and I love the topiary trees. Do you seal the trees before you add the wax? I have seen where some people say that the wax could pull the paint off if you do not seal first. I know it has been awhile since you made this video, however, I just wish that the Snowflake mould (as well as the Boughs of Holly mould) were still available. Thank you for such detailed instructions and inspirations.
Hi there! I use clear wax under my colored wax. It might lift a bit of the paint pigment, but thats perfectly normal. Wax is a sealer so no need to seal with a brush on sealer first. In fact, when you do that, the wax had nothing to soak into and just sits on top.
