That damn cut from the kissing to something else was timed soooo well!
Adore this fanvid! The opening is so great, a really good match of clips to lyrics. Also, love the visual parallels at 0:49 of Deborah putting her hand on Ava's shoulder and then their hand holding. Deborah and Ava have so much romantic and sexual chemistry! I hope they're endgame. I feel like the show won't have them end up together because of the age gap. Though it's promising they've had Ava dream of kissing Deborah and the ending of Season 2 when they parted as work colleagues felt like a romantic breakup. I'm still hoping something might happen between them, especially since they're increasingly becoming close friends and equals, and the power dynamic of boss and employee isn't there anymore. Thank you so much for the kind feedback! It was so fun doing the parallels. I completely agree about their chemistry! I'd love for them to be endgame but I fear the age gap and the writer's interpretation of Deborah's sexuality (I think she clearly comes off as a lesbian or bi but idk if the writers meant that) won't allow it. But who knows, anything can happen especially as the show enters its final season(s) - I know Xena did do more Xena/Gabrielle kissing (etc) in its final season when they didn't have to worry about renewal.
