- @MohanParthasarathy08 It is 5th day of our Road trip in Uttarakhand. After adventure and risk filled off-roading in pitch dark ghat area yesterday night , we started our journey fresh this morning . We had our breakfast in a small restaurant "Rotela Rashi which is just 7 km form Binsar vila-almere. We had Parata which was served hot and the food was very hygiene and taste. It is choice for those who want to try differently rather going in for Club Mahindra breakfast The pricing is also very reasonable . We spent some nice time with little puppy named Julie .
From there we started our trip to Bageshwar and Kausani . There are 2 routes, if we use the off roading route which we used yesterday night , it is just 60km and if we take Almora-Bageswar route it is 85KM and it takes more time. Our Driver decided to take longer clean route.
To our bad luck, we saw long traffic jam and many were saying there was huge land slide and the same is being cleared. We waited for 20 minutes and I then got out of the car and moved towards the land slip area to take some videos to be shown to you all. Fortunately it was not land slip, rather the hill road department was working on widening the road . For future travellers it will be helpful. Our route was cleared and moved forward .
First we went to Bageshwar and visited Bagnath temple which is very old temple and some say it is of 7th century. The temple was very divine and with the permission of the preist I took few videos. We also visited the river side and also nice statue of Shiva.
From Bageshwar , we reached Kausani. There we had our lunch in one of the restaurant . The view from the top floor was breath taking .After our lunch we visited Kausani Shawl factory and just saw how the shawls are being made. The we proceeded to Anasakthi Ashram which showed the full history of Mahatma Gandhi Ji child hood to until he was assainated . The area was serene and calm . We had glimpses of Himalayan mountain from one the deck of the Ashram.
This is it a there was nothing more to add. We are still confused what was really interesting to tourist who throng Kausani. I am keen to hear from my viewers . We really did 200 kms to and fro and were totally tired .
I really feel sad that I could not bring any thing much interesting in the blog.

.,
Welcome to senior citizen club . Good to know you also love travelling souther part of India . North is equally good and you will surely enjoy if you explore .
I learnt my car driving at age of 60 after my retirement and Covid . From then on wards I do lot of road trips and it is pleasure to drive untill all health parameter permits .
Happy to hear you have been to Malaysia and Australia. I am yet to visit this places , though I have done ME, Europe and USA.
About language I need to adopt , my mother tongue is Tamil , have been in other states from the child hood , not sure how fluency would be . I can speak in Hindi, Telugu , Tamil and Marathi . So struggling on which to select , so I followed English . May be I should do Hindi . Let me know your view .
