Sean, you are really open my eyes with your teaching. The way you teach is simple and I saw the notes on the guitar neck as well and it makes so much sense. Thank you and have an awesome day my friend
No compressor pedal in Austin….Sweetwater, did you hear that? Sweetwater is the best, just down the road about 40 minutes from me. Thanks for the video Sean.
I know enough to embarrass myself 😉. Your examples lately are spot on. Great technique and explained, demonstrated in meaningful patterning for play. Kudos 👍 Mahe Ohna ✌️ Favour ALL
So insightful as ever Sean. It would be really interesting to see a video on basic DAW concepts and how you go about producing your track. Keep it real my friend and come to the UK sometime soon! PS. Just as Dido did, I will also go down with this ship with you as my captain, there will be no white flag above my door.
Again, great stuff Sean!! I was waiting for the "M" word though. (Metronome LOL). Light, click, tap, beat, anything. Playing in time is the #1 thing that gets noticed. Everyone has access to some form of time keeping "thingie" 8) (they make an app for that! LOL) There is no shame in using it for practice! Just a humble suggestion from 40 plus years... 8) --gary
Oh hey I think the fuzzy comment that somebody made might’ve been in reference to decay as in the ship is sinking and dying and the fuzziness from mold I think. 😮Which is obviously a ridiculous comment because I just started watching you in the last couple of weeks and you seem to be very on top of your game and helping me in my musical journey. Which someday when people know my name for my music I can reference you as an influence. Plus the stitch method guy is pretty cool too but there’s a lot of y’all on UA-cam of course
**TRIGGER WARNING TO ALL THE CRY BABY INTERNET COMEDIANS AND BULLIES ALIKE** Hey Sean, I'm so happy I re discovered your channel and was finally able to subscribe for more delicious furry (?? Confuse meme??) content! I'm 37, when covid struck I decided to pick music back up, more specifically dust off the guitar and "figure it all out", nothing major, just being able to instantaneously improv the most beautiful melodic solos in any key with any type of backing tracks/genre/band etc. I think youtube is a great educational platform, but with no dedicated music theory curriculum or any real general sense of direction, I have found there are specific instructors/content creators/musicians who just seem to gel with me and I'm sure this is true for everyone on a similar conquest. Regardless if you're not funny, regardless of your seemingly strange propensity to dress up like a furry animal and commit I'm assuming consensual acts with other people in furry animal like costumes, regardless of the age of your ship and your ability to navigate, I just wanted to say fuck n a man, thank you for the content! I've found I like your guitar/music educational content, you are one of these creators who I seem to "get" and you've helped me get through some ruts to keep on keepin on! Hey man, thanks bro! Keep up the great work oldie lox! 👍
This was amazingly instructive for me on a topic I have been wondering about recently... from a self-taught 74 year old... Thank you, Sean......
Happy to help!

Thanks for the simple guitar techniques, appreciated. Loved the Salty Blues comment and response too!!

Same here been playing a long time, Sean is right where I need to learn
Love that guitar Sean, would be great to have a link or info in the description as well as to the pedals? Thanks! :)
Great knowledge Sean...
What is that beautiful guitar?
I'm a big Sweetwater fan.
Thanks for making it all not so complicated!
Enjoy
I feel today's intro joke is legitimately genius
Whatever it takes
You are a veritable fountain of non stop useful information....how the heck do you continue to produce
Keep em coming man 👌😊☮

Everytime you played those 3 Em doublestops I thought Iron Maiden. Smoke on the water is played with double stops.

Great lesson...cleared things up...always thought double stops were that Chuck Berry slide/thing...thx
There are a double stops in his playing for sure, but yeah technically it's the 2 note thing
