It's ok. The likenesses aren't bad. The accessory count is decent, what wiith the two sculpts. The proportions and tailoring - the areas where the Sideshow figure shines - are some way off. Having just got the Lim Toys Arthur Morgan figure, I would love to see that company tackiling Clint's many iconic characters. Lim Toys give you so much quality, accuracy and quantity for a very reasonable price. Unlikely, given that Sideshow are partnered with Clint, but how awesome would it be to see Inart making a Joe/Monco/Blondie?? The Sideshow effort is very good, but when it comes the likeness (I don't like their 80-20 accuracy-caricature policy, I want an accuracy target of 100%), paltry amount of accessories, cheap materials for the accessories and extremely uninspired base.... Sideshow falls some way short of Hot Toys and Inart while charging almost as much.
It's not perfect, but it's not horrendous. I think having both sculpts is key on this one, and the one without the hat is actually pretty solid. But the weapons, the poncho, def. could be better. You know you hit it on the head with what's bugged me about the Sideshow sculpts. While Hot Toys, Inart, Damtoys, Threezero, all go for realism in the sculpt, the Sideshow ones always do have a slightly caricature like look to them. It's one of the reasons why I've held off on picking up the Preacher (although might just be a matter of time) or the Lost Boys figure. It's the cost, they're charging a lot for their figures and I'm not sure it's warranted.
It is. I thought I mentioned it in the Review, but I might have missed it. I have to try track down the sideshow version. I know it's on waitlist full at Sideshow itself, but I think big bad has him.
Dude, just get the sideshow figure. You'll thank me later. I can't believe I considered canceling my order from sideshow and waiting for these🤦🏻 I'm getting the premium figure (statue) from them next. I'm not sorry I went with the sideshow standard figure👍🏼🤙🏼 I love the Dollars trilogy too. Something I also picked up from my dad👍🏼🤙🏼 I think you definitely need to pick the sideshow figure up. If more people buy it and make alota review vids and request for the Bad and Ugly figures,I'm sure sideshow will make it happen 🤷🏻♂️ We need sideshow to create them with the same amount of care and detail as they did with Blondie.👍🏼🤙🏼 Premium figures (statues) of the Bad and the Ugly would also round things up nicely with the standard figures👍🏼🤙🏼 It's worth every Penny! Trust me dude👍🏼🤙🏼
Hey, Sorry for the late response, just catching up after the Thanksgiving break. I'm definitely looking to pick up the sideshow version. I've had some other friends and people reach out to tell me it turned out amazingly well, so it'll be worth getting. Again, for this one, I wanted to have the trio, but to your point, the more interest there is in the original figure, maybe Sideshow will surprise us.
The only Present Toys figure I have is Indiana Jones...and it's definitely an improvement over the Hot Toys one (or any of the others) regarding the head sculpts. As far as Blondie (which is pretty much my second most desired character right behind Indy), I got the Redman Toys and Sideshow ones. I definitely debated on also ordering this one and the Snake Toys version...but just went with Sideshow. The Snake one definitely looks just like Redman, but you get a non-hatted head...which I'm guessing you get one head to ill-fittingly put the hat on. It's cool you get the seamless forearms/wrists and the bags of gold, but not worth paying all that for it. And I know that'll sell out super fast when Toy Anxiety gets it.
I have a few of the Present Toys figures on order, but these were my first pick ups from the company, not bad to start with. Def. not perfect but I'm satisfied overall. I am thinking about getting the sideshow one as well. What do you think about yours?
sorry, I missed these, I think they're sold out at a lot of places, but ebay might have some and if not, I'll keep an eye out and i'll post a link if I see them somewhere. (I would just recommend staying away from a site called toys wonderland, and I think they're now going by Toys Apollo)
Man, this just doesn't look nearly as nice as the prototype...that's a real bummer. From the hat sitting so high (just like Redman's - but tilted up like Will Rogers), to the far apart eyes...you can definitely see the molding process was rushed. The head's are very squat. Like I wonder if you heated them up, then pinched them in while dunking in ice water would fix it.
Hey! Thanks for watching, and your right on about the sculpt, especially the one with the hat. The other sculpt isn't bad, but they both do feel a little too rounded. will def. be playing around with these a little bit to try to get them where I want them, but not bad for a third party release.
Totally agree with you about Clint being the shiii! lol. This one was actually not as expensive coming in at about 170 all in...not cheap either, but at least not 300 bucks but this hobby can def. be overpriced.

The color of the belt is wrong. You can still get the sideshow one! It's great!
