I agreed with you until a few years ago, but currently, I wouldn't say I like the stylistic trend of modern road BMWs at all, let alone SUVs and electric cars, which are unwatchable. I would also want to tell you that BMWs once weighed little and had excellent driving dynamics. Now, even the sports cars are unnecessarily too heavy. Fortunately, BMW's motorsport cars, I'm thinking of the GT3 and GT4 versions and the LMDh Le Man's car, are fantastic. Still, unfortunately, personally, the road cars no longer reflect my tastes.
There’s something about racing these old performance cars that really makes you appreciate the skills other drivers have. I would’ve been drifting AAAAAAALLLL over the place in that rain. Also… Excellent display of professionalism.
