The new Safari has fantastic design but isn't as capable as the old Safari whereas the new Scorpio N is more capable but the design isn't as appealing as the Classic Scorpio.

Seen Scorpio N top variant, the only feature that I liked is its exterior look from a front angle. But, I decided to buy Kia Carens Prestige Plus, being offering best KMPL, interior and features in comparison to Scropio N. The leg space in 3rd row is very less for adults and the seat doesn't recline. If 3rd row seats are opened there remains no room for luggage. Further, the Mahindra Policy is dictatorial, it doesn't fix the delivery period or delivery price, takes advance deposit, and charges penalty on cancellation which is not in Kia.

Scorpio N is not a family car at ur budget. Z4 petrol version will cost u more than 15 lakhs. This is a 5 seater (adult) car with extra small seat at back. Thigh support is less for front seat passenger and driver. If you have good amount of money, mileage doesn't matter much, want a very powerful engine, looking for enormous road presence and want a adventurous drive then this is for u. In sedan i found Honda City base model as most value for money car with all necessary features.

Previous generation Scorpio got the best looks no doubt the road presence and muscular is what that car an absolute BADASS
But if only looks matter in everything then Kiger is better than Brezza or Hector is better than new generation Safari or Harrier is way better im terms of looks than Scorpio S11, or i10 nios is better than Scross? sounds silly!? Coz it is! that doesn't makes sense at all as these vehicles offers better looks but lacks other aspects. Although hating new product is trend in our country, i still remember people oppressing the current Scorpio Classic/S11 when Mahindra launched it in 2014 saying older generation was better this and that now they just loved it. Same thing happened with XUV700. But that doesn't change the fact is whether this new generation Scorpio-N got minus point with looks but it is a true capable SUV you'll get in under 25lakh!
It is way superior product compared to old scorpio
Better Aerodynamics due to bulky and curvy shape which old scorpio lacks and had extra body roll Stability! You cannot take sharp turn with older scorpio while driving this one you feel stable at cruising at 100kmph and of course safety!
The new Scorpio-N is the future Mahindra single handily challenged and shivered the whole CSUV - SUV segment of India. Competition will increase with time for sure!

Hydraulic hatch rear tailgate would have been a welcome addition to the new Scorpio. The side opening tailgate has lots of issues which no one discusses. It's a big missed opportunity for a premium upgrade by Mahindra.
True... while they addressed third row seating they could have simply used hydraulic hatch. it would have been a perfect Urban ride as well.

What is this design not good chirping in the auto market?
I'm watching Scorpio classic since it came, yah it was great at that time, but nowadays after cars like Fortuner, Endeavour came that design of earlier looks like really childish to me.
But with this Scorpio N, now I seriously throw the idea of ever spending cut throat kind of money on cars like Fortuner.
Yah some updates are require in this car too, like rear AC vents, bigger sunroof etc. So I'm hoping highly Mahindra will soon come with the updates.
Big daddy will be running for cover if Tata come to its senses and provide Safari a capable 4X4 option with 10 inch touch screen

How companies launch their product without looking at space management, this is something very basic that you figured out in 20 min video but how come Mahindra could not find in their rigorous testing of vehicles. At least build something practical so that buyer can use that functionality or feature.

Also in the same volume either you can get boot space or you can get rear seat comfort. Because car has limited volume. How hard is this to understand?
The more they stretch it in length it'll get more expensive, more hard to drive, mileage will drop. Why would you trade off so much for once a year vacation when you travel?
Use some more brain and try to figure out why. They're not fools either already you're the one missing something.
