It's impossible to walk a mile in Allison's shoes without having experienced the trauma of the Ukraine war. Her courage is inspiring but I hope I never have the need for it.

It's interesting to consider the theme "Memento Mori" in the context of Allison's experiences. While facing life and death situations, she's found her purpose in giving her life away to help others find freedom and safety.

It's important to acknowledge the complexities and challenges in these situations. While it's great to help, we must also consider the larger systems at play and work towards long-term solutions.

While their intentions may be noble, it's crucial to ensure that efforts like this are well-coordinated and effective. Good intentions alone won't solve complex problems.

Good talk Those of us who are fortunate enough to be able to chose what we want to do with our lives, should certainly set aside a lot of time to help those, who are not fortunate enough to do as they want with their lives.

Having slept on the floor of a station for two days getting an offer of help would have answer to her prayers but the beginning of another nightmare.

The statistic that less than 1% of HT victims are ever found is sobering.

Watching this in Nov. 2024, we wonder - what is the lesson here about the genocidal campaign against Palestinians? Why are we not resisting THAT invasion?

This is a hard one for me. My relatives were gassed at Treblinka. Ukrainians and Poles collaborated with Nazis.
I guess it is a new generation and they want to show the world they aren't the same ruthless people who murdered millions of victims!
