A big thank to ddk Imphal for exploring uniqueness of Chiru tribe community.It is almost similar to Kom,Aimol,Koireng in terms of culture and tradition.We use musical instruments like rusem,serangdar and sum ect.May God,s immense blessings be showered upon small tribes of Manipur.
Chiru tribe is an indigenous small tribe of Manipur. They are hard working, talented and sincere people. Despite of their talent and hardworking, they are not a develop tribe since they don't enjoy political rights. Politically very weak. Since I work with my Chiru friends I have a compassion for this tribe. They are real tribal farmers who depend mostly on agriculture. My classmate who have finish his master in history is a farmer now at his village. Since he cant pursue his further studies and preparation for exams. Feel pity for him. Financially so weak. I love you Chiru tribe.
I explore one of the Chiru village (Noney) and I found most of the people do understand thadou-kuki-dialects and also, we have a similar folk dance which I enjoyed very much. No offense I am just expressing to what I see. 💝💝💝💝💝💝
Small tribes like chiru r living in each districts of manipur, so they easily catch up neighbouring people/tribes languages, but big tribes like Naga n kuki can't even barely speaks meitei 😅. My village is close to meitei n kabui, so we understand both , others close to kuki can speak kuki, other closed to Naga can speak Naga, meitei, etc. My niece n nephews speaks paite fluently just after staying in ccpur for 1 year in school.

Yes most of the tribes of Manipur share many similarities...m interested in learning more about all tribes...hope we all can trace our origins n make our cultures richer

Gosem/Rosem/Rawchhem signifies that we are one blood. Tingtang/tingtrang/Selangdah-/dar is a close linked to our khulmi origin

"Chi" means salt "Ru" means "Du" in thadou if am not wrong.. Chiru means Chidu in thadou. And i love them because they are my brethren 😍

kuki yesterday term chiru lives for 1000 years in Manipur . Kuki means nothing and not related with chiru. What does kuki mean in ur language?
