I’m in Idaho and it was amazing. Even down in the valley with some light pollution, it was so beautiful. My son took some long exposure photos with his phone and they are so freaking cool. Purple, reddish-maroon, and turquoise and green. It made me want to book a trip to Iceland even more lol!

Exactly. People don’t even know what’s happening in the world. Though I believe it’s heavenly, I truly believe it’s a sign in the heavens as to judgement. I was researching and they rarely have those in China or a Europa and the ancient pagans even knew there was something spiritual coming from them. I saw some green waves looking east in my window, in the middle of the city. And so I left my apartment, got to look east and the sky was just red. So I get down to a trail nearby to get out of the light. So bright and I look south and it was so far south. In London Ontario, you would never see them or it would be cloudy on the stronger ones. But seeing them south of me, far south in the sky. Wow, that was extreme.

Don't worry. Today is supposed to have even stronger lights. Look at the sky soon after sunset. Movement and colors will appear. Use a phone camera at high exposure to make it more visible.

Why do I feel like I was the only one in the US who didn't see it. And I'm in the PNW! lol I checked outside my house around 11pm and again at 4am. Nothing.
I could only see it through my phone camera. But it was stunning. I’m in Oregon
You have to constantly check. I'm in Northern California and I checked probably every 20 minutes from 9:30 till about 11:45. At 11:45, I started to see what looked like faint air pollution to the north. After looking at it constantly for 15 minutes, I noticed that it was moving around in the sky. Then it started brightening up into pink colors. It stuck around till about 12:30 and about 12:45 it was completely gone...the sky cleared up.
