Casting a Pumpkin - DIY

Halloween is almost here and I wanted to practice some mold making for a future project! 🎃🍁
Hope you enjoy! 😄✨
Things you need:
A pumpkin - real or fake, size and shape, you decide! 😄✨
Plastic pot - or something to make your mold in
Cardboard - I used foam cord
Glue-gun
Silicone - I used RTV 70 HR, but you can use whatever type you want really
Vaseline
Sculpting tool - or what you have at hand, preferable metal, I also used a crochet hook
Clay - I used Chavant
Water - to measure with, and for the plaster
Brush - for the silicone and vaseline, preferable a disposable one
Wooden beads
Masking tape
Scale
Bowl - for mixing silicone and plastics
Wooden spatulas - or something to stir with
Plaster - or gypsum, almost the same stuff
Paper towels
Superglue
Wall filler
Fine grit sandpaper
Acrylic spray paint - Black as a base coat (If you're goring for a white finish, use that instead)
Spray paint - in any color, I used copper and gold
Patience

Tip, if you're going to try to replicate this, use less silicone on the first pour so that the surface is level with the thickest part of the pumpkin. That way you avoid thin weak parts of your mold.

On a swedish site www.kinn.com/index.html 🙃 so if you are elsewhere I don't really know were to find it. But andy silicone used for making mols should work. Just read the instructions beforehand and everything should work fine 😄✨
