PD needs a DAs office to tell PD what charges they will draw up to then bring to court, like real life cops do not ultimately decide what charges. They recommend to the DA after an arrest, once they explain the arrest, then the DA has the final say.
that will take hour+ just to do the most simple set of charges
Just get new cops that don't stack charges and actually have the admins start to do their jobs and bust down on meta gaming
its the same thing cops will still do a terrible a job at investigating and the da will push the charges anyways. why they got rid of the da originally.
Nah cops just shouldn't talk to anyone about charges except for themselves. They could always ask the more experienced cops for advice. If the charge sticks then it sticks, if it doesn't then they'll lose in court

Then everything is self-contained and you don’t have bias leeching in.
Example where cops will abuse this anyways: Where The cadet asks superior if they can push a charge…. Then the superior just magically bumps into a judge and gets their opinion… then comes back the officer and recommends the charges the judge just agreed on.
It should just be the person on scene who arrested you: the role-play for them is deciding what they think they can prove not just stacking shit because criminals have no recourse and cops are too powerful and just decide to abuse it. And again the Admins need to stop cops power gaming and just abusing their in game power. It destroys the server and just breeds animosity. Like an admin‘s job is to prevent that. Yet they never do.

jury system only works if characters are created to only be jurors. They shouldnt do anything else so that way theres no ic bias. Now that doesnt stop ooc bias but its a start

Weird that dab talks about stopping the police from abusing their powers when thats literally what he did as mayor making himself the commissioner. Im understanding dabs character more and more each day, he is 2/3 hypocrite 1/3 man child, with some intricacies here and there but essentially just a hypocritical man child.

If nopixel want their experiments to be successful, I honestly think they should get a couple experts economist and social scientist figure a system that would work to incentivize players to do serious jobs no one wants to do like judges, civilians over sight. Cause you cant pay them in game currency cost a lot to get them to and cash would cost to much senstivis some to do them.

Kebun knows he isn't talking to a higher up, Koil decides at the end of the day and how PD/DOJ have been over the last 2 days its a pretty fair assumption too think Koil has given a bunch of people a talking to on how he sees the current format and it needs to change immediately. Parole, huts, cops being judge jury and executioner have all pretty much change overnight once Koil had that meeting with Kebun & Ramee about the current system.
