Sir, for question no.3 it would be easier and quicker to calculate R from either of the two given sets of data i.e. either calculate R from [P=1500, first Interest (which is 30), and T1 (which is 4)] OR from [P=1500, second Interest (which is 60), and T2 (which is 8)] instead of using both the sets of data.🙂

In Q-3, can't we just take the first part and apply the formula S.I.=(P*R*T)/100 for finding R, where SI=30 P=1500 and T=4 ??
I did the same mistake and didn't read the question properly.
Two SI's and Time durations are given
SI 1=30 and SI 2=60.
T1=4yr and T2=8yr.
