- This is an animation I started months ago and just decided to finish. Not my best work, but I think it turned out alright.

@@GearBills how long did it take?
@@conorsvfx well I started it months ago and the first part that follows the reference video took a few days because blender was running at a slow frame rate. Then I quit working on it until the other day when I remembered it. Then I figured out the cause of the slow frame rate and was able to animate the last half of it where he jumps off in about a night.
@@GearBills ah ok gotcha what was the cause of the slow frame rate? Mine are often slow as well
@@conorsvfx Mine was sort of a special case. For whatever reason there was some tiny little duplicate object in the scene that was slowing everything down. I wouldn't have noticed it if it hadn't shown up in my test renders. I deleted that and then it worked perfectly.
