The only aim in Rust is to survive. To do this you will need to overcome struggles such as hunger, thirst and cold. Build a fire. Build a shelter. Kill animals for meat. Protect yourself from other players, and kill them for meat. Create alliances with other players and form a town. Do whatever it takes to survive.

Having finally got rust on console. I now realize how brutal and unforgiving this game is. The amount of times I’ve been ambushed is maddening and the grind is addictive
Yep people on this game are without mercy, in other games like this like ark or dayz when you run into people both parties tend to ponder for a second if fighting is worth the risk, in rust if you lock eyes its garantued you have a fight on your hands and they'll chase you for a litteral mile if they have to
