Planning to do Masters in Canada is definitely a great option. I will say the pros and cons and leave it to you :) Pros: For masters, you don't need a provincial attestation letter. And you will get 3 years work permit post graduation which is really a good policy. Your husband will also get Open work permit. You will have more time to stay in Canada to get a Canadian experience which will give you more points when you apply for PR. On top of that, you will also have extra points for your Canadian education. Cons: Should consider the high cost of living, especially when you come as a student. Because getting a part time job is difficult nowadays and to manage the cost of living, Government actually doubled the GIC amount from CAD 10K to 20K. Check out my another video on Cost of living. One doubt, I have done my engineering as in Mechanical, but currently working as a software developer with 2 years of exp, and have overall 5.5 years of experience can I try with NOC 21232
Because I don’t know the nature of your job and its responsibilities, Look for the job duties mentioned in the NOC you choose. Unga job duties should match with NOC. Unga role title NOC kooda match aaganum nu kedayathu.

@@manigandanm7590 NOC code does not necessarily need to match your degree. You will need signed employment letters on company letterhead with your job responsibilities, salary, time worked etc.

All you need is an express entry profile. Avlo dhan. They will choose your profile and issue ITA if you meet their expectations.

For 2024, the category is already determined. Unfortunately, cooks or chefs are not in any of them.

If you already have a well-paid job and a comfortable life over there, trust me it's not a great time to move to Canada with your family.
