This is a cover. The original is by The Rescues and it is available on UA-cam. It sounds very similar to the PTX but The Rescues never add the bass part. Scott learned this when he sang it with his college a capella group in 2011 and taught it to the rest of the group. They do a song like this now and then, with no percussion and really tight harmonies. You should listen to them do Elvis' "Can't Help Falling in Love" or their original songs "Run to You" and "Light in the Hallway" which are the same style.

I love all their songs/performances/videos/live or video. For some reason, this one is my one and only least favorite. I am not fond of it. But their talent can not be denied regardless of what they do. I normally skip this one, decided to give an extra "view" to you, you are great.
