As an Ole Miss guy, it's pretty cool to see him take the Saban approach--bemoan the changes in CFB and wish it were different, sure, but take advantage of the opportunities that come with those changes and master them. UGA game was the peak of what a gelled portal class can do. Hope we finish strong!
Lane was extremely conservative 4th quarter. He was just burning the clock instead of trying to score. It could have easily been in the 30's for Ole Miss.
Alot of interview but little insight into what has made Kiffin this successful at Miss, what is his overall approach, what specifics have made the difference compared to less successful coaches. What exactly did he take from his experience with Saban that boosted his coaching capabilities. Its like studying why exactly have some notable combat commanders been so successful while other not or even relieved of command.
As a TN fan i like Lane. He’s really grown up some. And you can’t argue he’s a great coach. I didn’t like what he did at TN. Actually i didn’t like how he did it. But he was young and his dream job became available. Any coach Probly does the same thing. I don’t think he stays at ol miss but who knows. He’s doing a great job there now

The coaches now have the support from the administration and the boosters. With those 2 things and the success so far, the talent will come. We've had great players. Most were 3 stars and below with an occasional 4 star or rarely a 5 star. Meanwhile Georgia, Alabama, and others had teams that consisted of 5 stars and 4 stars with only a few below that. They had the depth. The portal and NIL is changing that. The success will change it more. Ole Miss can and will win championships. IF you still disagree, tell me why. What do you think they are missing and will continue to be missing?

But I bet it will not run into next season. That’s Georgias first lost in 52 games to a team not from Alabama so just let that sit 52 games have to lose sometime
