Just got one for my birthday. I am glad to see your video. Thanks
Received mine today, what a beautiful Bow, 20# exactly, for the money its a fantastic shooter, Arrows are a little heavy, Changed to feathers and add heavier points , now dead center at 20 mtrs.
Its noticable which bows Sanlida are pretty much seeing and making cheaper. Like the recurve looks like a SAS Maverick but cheaper and as a bundle. This bow looks like a Samick Sage but cheaper and a bundle. The Sage has always been kinda viewed as the perfect option for a beginner into "western" archery. Primarily bc of the riser and how you could grow with the bow, replace the limbs with higher draw weights.
But not even the Sage can compete with this bow ideally, since the Samick Sage, you'd get only a bow and need to by arrows and other accessories separately.
Great review as always.
great review and nice shooting my friend!
Ordered, will be here Friday Oct 20th, by the way my wife's maiden name was "Noble". makes it even more interesting..
Those faces 😂 😉
Joking aside, your focus through the shot process, from intention to follow through, is inspirational.
Sanlida the best🔥🔥🔥🏹
Price-wise it looks pretty unbeatable for sure. Great review as usual, thank you :)
I always wondered about the term 'entry level' bows. In my mind, there is a bow with its given parameters and as for the rest it's up to me really to make it work. I mean, if someone gets the bullseye with a - let's say - 30# bow with 30" draw from 20m with an 'entry level' bow and non-matching arrows, why should one 'upgrade' to advanced? :) Is it just a quality of life or build quality thing? Could you make a video, like a 3minFriday about what is the difference? Just an idea, tho ^^
Recurve and longbows normally need string silencers. I hunt with recurve and was a very noisy bow when I got it
great video man👍
I have noticed about TD wooden bows is that the arrowrest is pretty much an achilles heal depending on models
"hitting that fracking SUBSCRIBE button :D" - I totally feeling you there, haha. I really wish I could hit that every single time you mention it, If there is a channel out there I find worthy for it, it's this one, period. ✌
87E - we're getting there 🥳
thank youuuuu
thank you
Sanlida, Jackalope, Old mountain, Galaxy, many names, but the factory for most or those brands come from one factory (traditionnal)....SAMICK (i'm sure)
for musical instruments or archery, they work well, clean, and as the same models have different names, the huge production allows to sell 100€ kits !
How well filed are the string nocks? I had two pairs of their foam core ilf limbs & the transition was so sharp it wore the string serving out really quickly. I had to file the transition to stop the problem. On the bright side their performance is outstanding in terms of speed & consistency..
they are fine
Wouldn't believe you could get a good bow set for that price 😱.
I'm just made for thumb draw bows though 🤷♂️
As always great review. 🙏
😮💨 I like the rating systems and miss the 60° string-angle measurements and tillerstocks! They add character value and welcome information. 🙂
I’ve been interested in getting a recurve bow and trying it for so long but i got no money or big yard. One day i guess 😅
Fast flight compatible?
Good review Armin as always. If I wanted to continue to work on my thumb release, could I order a left-handed bow (shelf on the right side) and use it as I would an Asian bow? Do you think that will be an acceptable compromise. For the money, I may order one at 2? Pounds and one at 38 pounds to shoot along with my Tartar bow.
lefthand recurve bows tend to still have a quite long arrow pass. So somethings you usually want to do in asiatic archery might be not so east
Thank you Armin.
How long can we shoot by it ?
I'm about to order the long bow and recurve that you reviewed from them. Have you found the draww weights to be accurate?
yes pretty accurate
Good👍
I've always been curious about how bow designs work. Are they not copy-written? As in, how can a dozen different companies basically repeat the same shape? I assume this is like the Samick Sage, it looks almost identical. How does that all work legally? I've seen it happen with either AF Archery or Alibow designs, as well. It's the same shape, nearly the same bow, but under a different name and different prices.
one would need to get a copyright for the exact design I guess. Then other companies just change a small thing of this design and its not protected anymore.Samick should be proud one the other side. When they get copied, means they did good :)
Samick really is great. That makes sense. I'm getting a Samick for the ability to put a bowfishing reel on it, but if these stay the same price, I may pick one of these up instead! @@ArminHirmer
i will order one right know for my wife
do u drink tea armin?
yes
Again a other samick sage with a different name
To be fair the sage wasn’t the first, just the most popular.
Thank you
