So I actually learned about the lies of pringles in a marketing course in college. Pringles we’re sued by many potato brands to outlaw them calling pringles a potato chip. They lost this case and thus are no longer able to be sold next to potato chips in stores. Idk about the Uk but in America, if u go to literally any place pringles are sold, they are always sold next to none potato chip products. I mostly notice them sold around Chex mix, nuts and pretzels. In fact, most pringles are sold in separate isles from chips in most gas station. Totally fascinating. It blew my mind four years ago. I still love sour cream and onion pringles though. Hope I taught y’all something youtube and the sidemen. Luv y’all.

Fruit sugar is VERY different to sugar in pepsi. It can actually be healthy, as long as you're not downing litres of it a day wheras sugar in pepsi has pretty much no nutritional value at all.
I was thinking the same thing, fructose from fruit is much healthier compared to the refined sugar in soda. And the fruit comes with all sorts of good vitamins, compared to soda which is just junk. Just because the sugar amount is equal does not make the drinks equal in any way.
@@sebbychanforever you clearly don't know what you're talking about. Yes it's naturally occuring sugar but that doesn't always mean it's more healthy. Natural sugar is what we evolved with for millions of years so our bodies are more used to it and we put it to use more, yes, but its still actually just as harmful and damaging in equal amounts as any other sugar. It is better to drink it as like I said its used for a few things (can't fully remember) but like I said it's just as damaging and in no way healthier.

@@j.s-r2s986 Actually, they do. Natural sugar is absolutely healthier than refined sugar. This is just a quick Google search away which yields plenty of results. Many people tend to dumb-down the "health" of a food or beverage. It seems like most just take into consideration the potential weight gain when considering how healthy a food or drink is. There's a lot more to consider when it comes to our diets.
Regardless, it's silly to say that natural sugars are, "in no way healthier," than refined sugars. Neither is great for you, especially in large quantities, but it can certainly be determined that one is comparatively more healthy than the other. Everything they said in their comment was accurate, and they were being totally fair. On the other hand, the video lazily equated Naked juice to Pepsi purely based on sugar amounts. As *the colors of fire* said in their comment, the Naked juice also has the benefit of the naturally occurring vitamins and antioxidants present in the blended fruits and vegetables.
*The ingredients listed in their "Berry Blast" smoothie for example are:*
Apple Juice from Concentrate (Water, Apple Juice Concentrate), Banana Puree†, Strawberry Puree, Black Berry Puree, Raspberry Puree, Natural Flavors
*While a can of Pepsi has:*
Carbonated Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Caramel Color, Sugar, Phosphoric Acid, Caffeine, Citric Acid, Natural Flavor
These are not even comparable. The primary differences are in the HFCS and the overall lack of nutritional benefit in the Pepsi. At least the Naked juice will supply you with some Potassium, Vitamins, and Antioxidants.
In conclusion, I'm not sure what the basis of your argument is here. The original post did not make the argument that any form of sugar was necessarily "healthy." It just pointed out the false equivalency made between Naked juice and Pepsi. That's totally fair, and I'm actually very happy somebody commented on this because I was disappointed with the original creator's lack of effort/detail when they made the comparison.
Actually fructose is only metabolised in the liver, so while it’s better in the form of fruit (with actual vitamins) compared to fake high fructose corn syrup, it can still be almost worse than glucose. It’s why you will actually see body builders in gyms in the middle of a big session eating a bag of sweets (candy) over any fruit cause that sugar can actually go into your muscle glycogen. Whereas fructose is just in the liver, but high amounts of fructose and glucose will both spike insulin like crazy and eventually cause insulin resistance up to potentially type 2 diabetes and a lot of fat gain etc
India made tikka masala but it was a veg version there was something called panner(indian cheese) but then in Britain they just put chicken and made it chicken tikka masala. But most people will prefer chicken tikka masala over veg tikka masala,but idk I am a filthy vegetarian

Never have I ever heard that Chicken Tikka masala is a staple in Indian food before today. That is 100% cap.
Well, it was created by Desi chefs inspired by Shahi Tikka Masala(vegitarian), so technically an Indian dish, and a staple because it is most ordered dish in the restaurant around the world.
Indians invented tikka masala, but it was only vegetarian. Britain took it and added chicken.

The fact that Naked smoothies contain as much sugar as a Pepsi/coke doesn’t mean they’re not better for you. I think it’s pretty obvious. Fruit is pure sugar, meaning smoothies are pure sugar. But the sugars in smoothies also give you a tonne of great micronutrients while coke/Pepsi provides nothing of value at all. So smoothies are all good as long as they’re consumed in moderation to hit your micronutrients. Also the body needs some sugar to function and provide quick energy so you’re better off gettin sugar from fruit/smoothies than from coke.

i feel like the issue isnt really about the sugar. firstly fruits contain fructose while soft drinks like Pepsi contain sucrose. that's why they can say No added sugar cos sugar normally only refers to sucrose. the sugar we add to our tea is also sucrose. however these fruits smoothies, are they really made from fruits. like did they blend the fruits in house? the answer is no. they use fruit concentrates instead. that's why the sugar or rather the fructose content is high. however by making it concentrated and the fact that the fructose level is still so high, it's unhealthy as u lose the nutrients u get from eating fruits like Vitamin C and the fructose level is high. like yes it's fructose, it's natural sugar but with everything, too many is too much. have everything in moderation.

@@lebambalesheeshmerchant709 im just speaking based on the fact that I have read the labels on naked smoothies and seen they have a tonne of key vitamins and minerals in them. Whatever the process to make them is, they have a lot of actual nutrition in them according to the labels, something coke and Pepsi have none of.
