    Great Vid, helped alot. I've just bought your SS dispenser with 30 psi regulator (GEB2592)and we'll be making a video shortly on using it to carbonate a Kvike brew. Spoiler alert... it worked perfectly and the beer was great. Only one thing for you to consider, I sent an email but nobody got back to me, Phil. Anybody reading this though should know we always buy grain from these guys and the grain and equipment is top notch. Keep up the great work GEB.

    If it helps anyone the reminder I use is Grey for gas and Black for beer or for the posts it's grooved for Gas and blank for Beer.

    Hello, thank you for this great video. I have a few questions about corny kegs. I ordered a keg kit as a present for Christmas with 2 kegs. As I understood to carbonate you have to do it at low temperatures 5C. The kit I have ordered has the tap directly connected on the keg. They told me the shorter, the better.To dispense the beer the keg has to be at a max of 10C. I was thinking of maintaining these temperatures with the ferminator keeping the kegs in it. Is it possible? And to dispense shouldn’t there be a line between the tap and the keg to lower foaming risks?
    Thank you for the information

      Hi, Yes we would suggest below 4 to allow the beer the opportunity to carbonate properly. If you are using the ferminator it will help you achieve those temperatures easily. If its a corny keg i would suggest a beerline between the keg and the tap, you can also step the size down in that line to help prevent fobbing . Hope thats helpful let us know if you need any further assistance

    Thank you. A quick question - is it possible to use a hand pump/beer engine with a stainless steel mini keg? If so, what attachments would you need?

      Apologies this has been missed until i just noticed now replying to another comment. In theory yes it can but it would be a tub inserted to the keg with a very short shelf life as it wouldn’t be 100% protected

    Hey the 4-5 cartridge estimate is for force carbonating using the shake method? Or the 24 hour to 48 hour method (where you’d get the beer up to 20 psi and let it then sit). Thanks!

    • @Geterbrewed
      @Geterbrewed  2 роки тому

      Yes 4-5 for force carbonating and 1 for dispensing if already carbonated

    Can I connect the mini keg to mixed gas to dispense Guinness cans put in that have had the gas released and if so what sort of pressure is needed?

      Hey , apologies this hasn’t been replied to until now. It’s possible but so many variables to take into consideration its really difficult to give a helpful answer without seeing the setup , give it a go and improvise and adapt as needed we’d say

      Hey apologies for missing the comment until now , noticed while answering other comments, yes you can initially prime to carbonate then use co2 for dispense

    14 minutes in and I suddenly have my attention diverted and think "who on earth installed that power socket?" 😂 Sorry to anyone watching who hadn't noticed it until they read my comment...

    23 minutes of what is essentially a pretty boring description of dispensing equipment. Could've been done in 10.
