How did i not know paul had backing tracks!!!!! Im ashamed, but very excited at same time. I watch far to many videos to not know about the backing tracks. This discovery has made my day!
Fantastic! I love this track and there is so much experimentation that is allows while playing to this one. You can really let your bluesy creativity go wild. And thank you for including the chords used for this. That makes navigation the E minor scale even easier.
Ok I'm 10 years late but I'm here May 2024. Amazing progression so easy to enjoy the entire fretboard here. When you want to impress, this is your go too!😅🤘😎🎸
Soooo basically you spend time on making this track and it got claimed by someone else so now they get the money for something you spend your time on creating?
Man, I can even listen to just the backing track as a great song. Thanks for the upload/creation Paul, this is fantastic to jam to OR just even listen to! Cheers! ;)
Had this backing track pop up in my Spark 40 app. It’s a blast playing along the scale or playing bar cords. Also tried some other parts of the scale. Experimented more and more. Could play it for hours. Thanks 😊.
Love it. I'm NOT a great guitar player, but Em pentatonic gives me 12 notes that just need to be played in time. Kinda can't mess it up. There is a lot to be learned and practiced within a slow jam track...and don't forget to octave up I remind myself!
wowww !!!! im watching one of your most recent videos and I absolutely LOVEEEE this E minor sound !!! Its beautiful I cant wait to practice this on my guitar journey! Blessings to you
cheers for posting this up :) I'm going to video an improv over this and then credit your backing track in the description so that other people can listen to it!
Use The SAMe Pentatonic shape over E,B and F# all which are relative to E Aeolian minor or B Dorian..But using thos e same box shapeslike that is something i learned from scott Henderson
Skullton well bear in mind that the B natural minor scale only has 1 note different from E natural minor and has the same notes as E dorian. E dorian/B aeolian would sound great over the first 3 chords but you should probably try and avoid playing the C# note over the C chord.
Thanks alot man! I am a real newbie when it comes to guitar theory, and I have never had the patience to learn scales by reading them. But this, this challenged me, and after a while I had a pretty good basic understanding for the Em scale. Thanks, once again, I really think tracks like this will help me progress as an guitar player.
Almost.
The chords are:
Em - D - Bm - C.
Sometimes the D is D/F#.
Old you 😂
Thank you so so much for this awesome Backing Track, Paul!
oh it’s you… I just wannna get a Em mood tonight.. yep Em tonight.
Good

just wait until you play guitar with it...it'll make whatever you play sound good!

I believe it may be based on Maggot Brain by Funkadelic.
The moment when the channel u watch for your tutorials is coincidentally also the one you use for your backing tracks
I feel so much like a pro when I play along 😂

Somehow, lines from Buckethead's other side of the dark go brilliantly with this track. Thank you so much for this :)

Em D Bm C
Does this sound correct to everyone?
Yes, that's correct.
Ikr like I am even playing b minor and that perfectly fits in
Skullton well bear in mind that the B natural minor scale only has 1 note different from E natural minor and has the same notes as E dorian. E dorian/B aeolian would sound great over the first 3 chords but you should probably try and avoid playing the C# note over the C chord.
Sounds like Em, D, Bm, Am ... good track
