roger, please can you use your editing tools to show us exactly how far your actual casts are when you fish off the beaches? perhaps a little arrow ect...

probably wont hurt to punch it out as far as you can, could get a sore arm by the end of the day but atleast you’re covering more ground with each cast 🤷‍♂️

@@skava1 I'm trying to get a visual idea of his distance's it's not a question of seeing if I can throw so far that I hit myself in the back of the head 😅

Zman with assists and split ring system jig head or chrome bearing for weedless assists hook system bit of blue tac does the job lol or get clay sulphur free mix with that fish lube scent or flour water tiny bit of cotton wool add to it or and red food colouring. That easy.

Beach worms don't exist here in Western Australia. Sadly. However, soft plastics in worm patterns still work really well on bream, herring ( Tommy rough), silver trevally and whiting. We also have very few species of flathead mainly Blue Spot. Dusky flathead aren't found in this state. Our Australian salmon are much more seasonal but are on average bigger than Eastern fish. All a bit different but much the same. We have a type of Drummer which is known as Buffalo Bream and are widely despised, although they pull like a train.

We are pretty gifted to have a coastline full of great sportsfish too. In the estuaries, rocks and off the beaches, theres heaps on offer. Mulloway, Kingfish, Drummer, are the top targets I can think of.

Aussie Salmon is really not fussy; you can even catch them with a bit of Chicken soaked in Tuna Oil! Last Wednesday I also caught one on an ordinary Chrome Slice Lure. 🤣
Do you think that you may be able to get Snapper off the rocks in that location, Roger?

Hello Roger, Thanks again for the great videos and the always really good commentary.
Could you use a pilchard on a three gang hook as a lure or is the pilchard to soft for all the casting ? I thought if there are some greenbacks around and you don’t have a lure it could be an emergency lure .
