    I've had 4 buzz cuts in the last few years and a fade for the last 7-8 years since I startted cutting my own hair. I don't honestly understand the mullet trend either. Also middle part is a big teenage trend right now. I'd say, as a barber, young Di Caprio or Banderas are the only ones I'd go for being 26 or just go back to a high/mid faded undercut, it makes you look clean and easy to live with in summer time. I'm still growing out my buzz cut though and do a cleanup every 2 months to avoid having a helmet look.

      @@mz7135 I have been growing from a buzz cut for nearly 5 months now (a few times I trimmed my sides a bit) and at first I'd say clean up around your ears anddo a light taper,after a while if you want to have hair to tuck over your ear you should stop the fades and just embrace it for a few months and the do a cleanup once you feel ready but remember, the more frequent cuts you get, the less growth you achieve in the long run. :)

      And my head looks weird naked.
      My worst cowlick is the one on my left side, half of my hair goes upwards to the front instead of down to the back which makes many long hair styles really hard to implement. But I am not planning on stopping till i find some way to make my hair longer.

    One key point is missing. A lot of this depends on your face shape. I have a round face and the long leo dicaprio hair would make my face look bloated. You need sharp features and a good jaw structure for the long hair/slick back to look good. Buzzcuts also make your face look even rounder for ppl with a genetically round face structure lol. I always thought a fade on the sides with longer hair on the top worked well for me. To each their own but should really ask barber or hairstylist what they would recommend for your face shape.

    You need a hair cut that helps define the proportions of your facial features. A lot of those guys in the video already have solid jawline and even facial width. (They are essentially gentialy blessed with good looks). Other guys may not have a trapezoid like jaw. Again it comes down to getting a style that helps show off better definition to your jawline and facial proportions.

Last autumn I had my sides and back short with no fade and since then I’m growing out these parts. My hair still looks decent because the top is already long and hence easy to maintain but my sides now need a little gel because they’re curling a little

    Sadly the slick back and overgrown top and tapered sides doesn’t work on course wavy to curly hair. Trust me I’ve tried it and it’s a nightmare. Personally I like to keep it 3-4 inches in length at the top and keep it to length by passing a high no. 8 clip. Sides can vary with no. 4 or 3. For anyone who reads this and is interested, the hairstyle looks like Tom Ellis’s hair in Lucifer season 1-3. Since my hair isn’t fully curly not straight it matches perfectly. Gives it a messy curls look and keeps it clean and simple.
    Edit: grammar

    • @joestewart5406
      @joestewart5406 Рік тому

      I just have them cut it down to 2 inches on the top and fade the rest. And they usually blend the sides so it’s not like a hat sitting on my head. It dosnt show my curls its only a little be wavy as it’s to short to curl all the way.

So never just do what you personally like! Always jump on trends and bandwagon things and avoid being yourself and unique at all costs. Who doesn't love that followers mindset of someone who thirsts to just fit in and do what everyone else is doing. And most importantly, if they jump off a bridge, don't hesitate. You follow that too.
