  • Nothing breaks open our self-understanding and shows us the inner workings of the soul as clearly as does a good story. Some of the stories that help us understand ourselves most deeply come from our own lives, others from scripture, others from ancient wells of mythology, and still others from great writers and poets, past and present. This lecture series will use stories, sacred and profane, old and new, to try to provide tools for us to shine a beam of light into our souls to see more clearly what happens there.
This lecture, "Biblical Stories of Searching, Sin and Redemption" is part of the series, "Entering the Soul Through Story," delivered by Fr. Ron Rolheiser, OMI at Oblate School of Theology on Feb 12th, 2018.
