It's a major bummer.
Bruce is always on point understanding giving respect to the fans a listing of wrestling Bruce and the doctor was born for what they do they a real real Super Bowl family that no wrestling and sports entertainment
I have never met Bruce or JC, but I think Bruce is towing a WWE line here and not giving us the entire truth, which is why people do not believe his answers in this podcast. 1. Jim Cornette created, and co owned OVW, so the promotion was his to do with what he wanted. Bruce is parroting the Laurenitis line that OVW was an extension of WWE, which is bulls##t. 2. OVW did business with the WWE, only because the WWE could not afford all the insurance and liability costs to run a developmental promotion ( which has changed with NXT, as they now have so much money they do not know what to do with it).3. If someone who had nothing to do with the business, came and continued, on numerous occasions to tell me how to run my business, then I would tell them to f#@k off, and mind their own business as well, such as using the type of ropes WWE used, which is okay for a tv show once a week, but when you are using them three times a day, everyday, can cause issues for the wrestlers. 4. The term a corporate employee, is just another term for kissing the bosses arse, and Jim had no need to do that at this time, so he did not. 5. The number of talent that went through this developmental promotion, and which then made so much money for the WWE, is so astronomical that it has to be the most successful developmental promotion this century, no matter what the son-in-law says. 6. I have a problem with Bruce's objectivity when discussing this issue. 7. While Jim Cornette is not always the best communicator, or always does the socially accepted thing, people still like him because he tells you what happened. His story on Santino Marella which is what got him relieved of his duties was a good story, and from the vision I saw Corny overreacted, as he himself has agreed to, but at least he owns his mistake, and to be honest his opinion on Santino is correct, he was a comedy act, one I liked, but still in the WWE, his wrestling was scheizenhaussen. 8. The standards became more corporate or PG, when the company listed on the stock exchange because when you list on the stock exchange you have to abide and do business by a set of standards and regulations, and if you do not you can be deregistered. 9. Bruce says that WWE valued the OVW development system. If this is true then why did they send Paul Heyman down to oversee things when Cornette left, as he wanted to stay up north, and why did the WWE give a guarantee for two years so the OVW management signed contracts and leases, only for WWE to change their mind six months later and leave them in the lurch, having to fulfil contracts.

How can Jim Cornette be fired from OVW? He owned half or part of it.
They had better talent coming from ovw than they do nxt. Not to mention that mysterious factor when wwe brought in these guys from ovw. We all know who the talent is coming from nxt. Not saying nxt doesn't have good talent but nxt signs everyone to go to raw or smackdown and only to have a few of them get a push while the rest just stay in the wwe to be jobbed forgotten and released eventually
You can choose to get a long or you can choose to get a long. It’s a choice either way.
Kevin Kelly never really impressed me. Michael Cole is a much better talent... survival of the fittest. I hope Corny goes to AEW - WHAT THE WORLD IS WATCHING
Bruce is such a kiss ass. Don't get me wrong, this podcast was responsible for getting interested in wrestling again after not following anything since the mid-90s. But since all the shit that's finally come out about Vince, and how evasive he's been about it when he damn well knew what was going on, it reminds me he's still a corporate, company "yes" man. It's a major bummer.
Understanding the truth break it down Bruce
At this point, Jim Cornette may be the only person who can help save wrestling! 🏸
Jim Cornette: *slaps Santino*
Bruce Prichard: You can't do that!
Bob Holly: Deliberately stomps and assaults man dying from cancer on tough enough
Bruce Prichard: That's just how he learned in his day!
Ok, the kid didn't have cancer when Holly beat him, let's be clear about that. Not excusing Holly by any means but jeez you make it sound much worse than it was.
That pick of Bruce 👆🏻legit is how Vince looks on all those steroids, like his head and face don’t fit his jacked body! Looks weird as hell! Vince’s face looks like he should be chubby but normal like Bruce! 😂
You can't fire a guy from the promotion he owns. He sold his share to keep the OVW agreement with WWE.
I would take Kevin Kelly over Michael Cole anyday.
Cornette hasn't evolved since the 80's, safe to say he cannot add new insight for 2020 and beyond!
Psychology is psychology it's the same as it ever was. If you're a wrestling fan today you should just watch gymnastics.
@@charlesburge3074 So we are supposed to watch the same matches from 30 years ago? I understand using more psychology (Cody Rhodes is big on that style) But can there be ZERO evolution? BTW, gymnastics isn't a bad sport.
I like cornette and everyone has their opinions
But when did using psychology or "more psychology" as you put it became a style that's fundamental
@@tn4u23 It doesn't matter. They remind you it's fake every 15 minutes. It's probably because I'm not 14 anymore. I remember men fighting. Not boys on a trampoline
Maybe he hasn't evolved since the 80s... but he evolved Cena, Brock, Batista and many others into who they became. The man's got a mind for the business whether it's old school or not and that's a fact
The worst thing to happen in wrestling history!!!!!!!!!!!!
is Pritchard calling Cornball a "negative nugget" LMFAO
