I'm glad that "Good Times Bad Times" is doing material about the current Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. it's good that there are also videos on UA-cam that explain the current conflict between Israel and Palestine without playing on our emotions.
It's also weird how despite having a perfect American accent (I assume they're a native speaker) the new narrator fairly regularly mispronounced words. For example "amok" was pronounced "ah-mook" instead of "uh-mauhk" as is the standard American pronunciation. I noticed several instances of this in the two videos with the new narrator.

I found it easier to follow when Hubert narrated. Maybe it’s just cuz we’re not used to it. But still, originality has tremendous value. It’s important to be instantly recognizable…this has now been lost.
I really used to look forward to these video releases but the ai narrator just kills the feeling. In an space where you trying to distinguish yourself from other channels using a generic ai voice loses all of that. Feels like untold news or those other generic channels
The fact that it isn't even an AI narrator but people draw the parallels shows how bad this generic sounding guy is when compared to the original GTBT narrator. Not to say the current narrator is bad per say, just prefer the og one 100%

However, and with all due respect to Mr Alex Clarke, would it not be possible for you to delegate English narration to an Anglophone compatriot of yours? No hate to the narrator of this video, but what made this channel so fun and engaging was the previous narrator. The present narrator for this video just made this video just like any other video on UA-cam
I saw the community post and do not intend to offend the new narrator, but I feel like the true character of the channel was Hubert's voice. I had grown quite fond of the accent and tone since the first video I saw long ago. If Hubert is not going to continue, which would rob the soul of the channel in my opinion, his replacement should be a voice with a very similar profile.
We demand the return of Hubert Walas the Polish voice and soul of the channel to be the narrator. Alex Clarke is not fit within the context of this channel, even if he would do a decent narration for many other channels or roles, because this channel is just too specific to be narrated by the generic voice of Clarke. As much as it is just a voice and the content and analysis of the channel is what matters most, the perception also matters in getting people to listen to the more heavy details of the video's contents, and the Polish voice of Walas is much better at sustaining interst in the topic than Clarke. If you are to change the narrator, at least bring back someone like Matthew Speidel, whose audio was at least equally interesting and non generic as Clarke's boring sound. All we ask for is simple, a narrator who doesn't sound like every generic geopolitics channel, because this unique channel should not be lost in the sea of generic geopolitics channels
As much as I wish we had the old narrator back, this is definitely the same channel - the same high quality writing and analysis as before. Give this guy a chance - Hubert's voice is wonderful but he's posted that he's burned out and needs a lighter load for a while. Don't kill a beloved channel because the narrator you like needs a breather :)
I'll still watch with the new narrator, and I don't want to hate on the guy because he's not bad, but I agree with the other comments that I preferred the previous narrator!
Here me out: there's probably a good reason the Polish guy is no longer the narrator BUT what if the channel uses an AI voice trained on the Polish guy's voice? Problem solved.

The mixing of the old narrator with the new narrator could've worked well enough if not for the strange repeating of words which occurs sometimes when the new narrator speaks. Maybe that problem is gonna get resolved by next upload.
The new narrator is good at what he does, but there are plenty of other geopolitical channels with similar narrators, and it makes GTBT seem like just another one of them. I prefer the previous Polish narrator, because his accent helped to convey that this channel is run by foreigners who are more likely to have a different perspective than my own since I live in the USA.

Because I'm starting to think that this new voice that he introduced is really just a pre-recorded voice that the AI is using, which is why he is also promoting the AI sponsorship now. AI just pulls random info from internet and voices over it.

I’m sorry I had to stop half way through- I just can’t listen to the new narrator- he sounds like many many other geopolitical channels. The polish accent is so much nicer on ones ear. For some reason the accent gave legitimacy to a European channel.

Out of respect to all of those favoring the previous narrator, he is desperately busy with family and work and is attempting to remedy this problem by allocating only _some_ of his load onto/into the hands of hired help. If this current narrator is not the right one, we should allow the o.g. narrator to continue to try and find the help he needs elsewhere. It's simply a matter of being pressed too thin.

These refugees won't be allowed into Egypt, Jordan or any of the Arab Gulf countries except possibly Hamas supporting Qatar, and if Qatar is forced to accept Gaza refugees, it will take care of Qatar's troublemaking policies. Gazan refugees will most likely resettle in Lebanon, Syria, Iran and Iraq, which are all Shiite majority/controlled nations. Since Palestinians are Sunni, they will eventually clash with their new Shiite landlords, who will be far more brutal than the Israelis. This is win-win for Israel & the Gulf Arab countries in the long run about finally taking care of the Palestinian problem.

Is "5th Arab Israeli War," really the best term? All the Arab factions involved are some sort of non-state actor and heavily dependent on Iranian support. Iran is majority non-Arab. Wouldn't it be more accurate to call it the 3rd Intifada? (granted it's much bigger than anything previous Intifada).
Guys the OG voice made a community post about his workload. He is still probably gonna do videos from time to time but he need to be able to make sure the channel(s) can run in the background. Especially since the Polish version gets more views and subs than the English.
I understand the pressures the OG voice (Hubert Walas) may be under, but "The 20s Report" is still diminished somehow. I hope I am wrong and the channel will grow with the addition of a more homogenous voiceover, but I fear not. My last name has nothing to do with it, btw. These refugees won't be allowed into Egypt, Jordan or any of the Arab Gulf countries except possibly Hamas supporting Qatar, and if Qatar is forced to accept Gaza refugees, it will take care of Qatar's troublemaking policies. Gazan refugees will most likely resettle in Lebanon, Syria, Iran and Iraq, which are all Shiite majority/controlled nations. Since Palestinians are Sunni, they will eventually clash with their new Shiite landlords, who will be far more brutal than the Israelis. This is win-win for Israel & the Gulf Arab countries in the long run about finally taking care of the Palestinian problem.

Is "5th Arab Israeli War," really the best term? All the Arab factions involved are some sort of non-state actor and heavily dependent on Iranian support. Iran is majority non-Arab. Wouldn't it be more accurate to call it the 3rd Intifada? (granted it's much bigger than anything previous Intifada).

Guys the OG voice made a community post about his workload. He is still probably gonna do videos from time to time but he need to be able to make sure the channel(s) can run in the background. Especially since the Polish version gets more views and subs than the English.
I understand the pressures the OG voice (Hubert Walas) may be under, but "The 20s Report" is still diminished somehow. I hope I am wrong and the channel will grow with the addition of a more homogenous voiceover, but I fear not. My last name has nothing to do with it, btw. I grew up in Montana and have never been to Poland.
