Babyfaces don't always age beautifully. Look at Leonardo DiCaprio or even Justin Bieber. But since Liam has a nice bonestructure he probably would have aged nicely.
@@johanna2690 Tbh I don’t see any issue with Leo or Justin’s faces. They just haven’t fallen for this weird buccal lipo, jaw implant chadification trend. A sharp jaw can be beautiful on people who have those features naturally - see Timothee Chalamet and Natalia Dyer. It doesn’t mean everyone needs it.
Him and Zac Efron both had the baby face look to them, I think they both wanted to look more manly but ended up ruining the natural handsome looks they already had. :/

but he didnt have a baby face though, idk it seems to me like he had a pretty sharp jawline going on (when he wasnt a bit chubbier) and his face overrall was pretty harmonious and impressively handsome.
The Jaw implant is clearly to large for his face. I also don’t think he had lip filler but the jaw implant has caused his bottom lip to look like he has a slight underbite.
Despite them probably being custom implants, they’re way too big for his face. I think Tom Cruise is the only celebrity who went from boyish softness to a more mature through jaw and chin implants. His work fit his face so well that I didn’t even realize he had work done until I saw his before pictures.
I think the trend we're seeing for both men and women is not necessarily to look more beautiful but to have a specific look or to make an impact with your looks. On one hand, I think that plastic surgery should be used to make you look like the best version of yourself, rather than to make you look like someone else and it's sad to see people looking like a completely different person. On the other hand, I do think that this is a first step to people accepting a wider range of beauty traits
You hit it dead on with "impact". They want to be talked about and the media to further dissect them. I heard Doja got her boobs done and lipo. She Def wants to make an impact when she already has with her music. Sigh

Male beauty standards are insane. Men abuse multiple hormones destroying their endocrine system and masculinising their head to look lean and muscular. So him mewing, chewing a rubber Ball and strenghtening his masseter muscles is not an option? When they talk of shaving the jaw bone, they say it's ill advised because of the muscles, but inserting a large implant is OK? I dont get it....
I support anybody getting surgery of their choice, as long as it's truly an informed decision made with sound mind. Still, I feel bad for how so many celebrities don't see their own beauty. Liam was so young when he became famous. And millions of people were staring at good face everywhere he went. That's going to affect a person. That's what I'm saying. You can see on UA-cam how many guys are obsessed with "mewing' trying to achieve a jawline like his. And he gets surgery. I mean honestly, the guy was ideal
I hate that softer features are for some reason considered unattractive, especially for men. Liam was really naturally handsome before, his face made him look more approachable and friendly. Now he looks almost not human
I wouldn't even consider his face soft it's just not like Brad Pitt level chiseled. But he actually favors Brad Pitt a bit naturally. I mean damn not everyone has sunken in cheeks, he already had a great jawline some guys would kill to have.
I remember I used to think Liam was the cutest out of 1D when I first became a fan in the 8th grade it’s sad that he wanted to change his looks but I hope he’s happy and understands he didn’t even need these procedures he was beautiful naturally

I have always liked niall the most o hope he doesn't do this to tho liam seems to have been having issues lately an acting out of character i wonder if this part of that
This is such a shame because men with soft, boysh faces are sooooooooooo gorgeous. Lots of girls have a preference for dudes who are more boyish (me included!!!!!!)
I will shout this from the rooftops if it saves just one person from literally paying a surgeon mess up their face! Your face WILL CHANGE as you age and mature, in ways you or your family may not even expect. I walked around with a round moon face until I was close to 30!! Even then, my face, jawline, and cheekbones were still developing into my early 30s. My face is faaaaaaaaaarrrrr more angular now than anyone would have ever guessed it would be. Had I had any buccal fat removed, implants, etc - I’d be looking like a crazy evil scarecrow from hell right now. Even the best surgeons in the world make mistakes. Every human body is different and we are still have so much to learn in regards to medicine in general. It’s expensive, there’s often unanticipated complications, risks, and plastic surgery isn’t even close to a magic bullet. Please, please please, let yourself fully grow into your adult form before you go making any life altering changes to your face/body.
Wait til you reach over 40! For me, I notice changes in my face every 4 years. I had a lot of fullness in my face until early 40s when I was getting the most compliments and men chasing me! Lol. All downhill after 46 for me!
my instinctive reaction both to him and to zac has been why would you ever want to do that to yourself if you were so perfect to begin with. feminine features are very attractive to many, and they are even popular if you think of k pop for example. but at the same time i do think they both have underlying issues that they hope to fix by changing their looks
@@solus8685 Not to women as well. Well, I guess it depends on what age a girl is considered a woman. Almost all girls when I was growing up (10-20) were obsessed with Justin Bieber, then eventually one direction. I noticed around their mid 20s they switch to liking masculine features/men. In my experience it is very rare to find a woman past 25 who still has a preference for feminine men. I've also seen many studies showing women on hormonal birth control preferring feminine men, but on their natural cycle they prefer masculine looking men. I've read stories online of women on hormonal birth control since they were teenagers eventually stopping their use to start a family and being so unattracted to their husband they end up getting divorced.
@@kylerBD I'm pretty sure birth control doesn't change your taste in men lol. I was just saying that kpop, femboys, androgyny etc are rather popular with the new generation of women, no matter where

Also don't think he had a weak chin at all. It was a really good chin proportional to the rest of his face. Now his jaw looks so sharp but in the it would hurt me if I touched it because it just doesn't look natural at all. I mean it's his face and only he has to like what he sees in the mirror but I think he looks like Handsome Squidward and that's not a great look in my opinion.
In my eyes he was absolutely perfect before any changes. It’s sad that he felt he needed to change. He reminds me of Richard Madden from the tv show The Bodyguard now.
@@xiomyra1 The changes he's made (implants/filler) would still be largely reversible if he wanted (I wave my flag of hope). Can you please do an assessment on Julianne Hough? TIA!!!
I checked her ig after seeing your comment, and at first i thought it might be the different hair color, but you’re right,, her face seems fuller maybe? Something is definitely different
Omg I totally thought the thumbnail was photoshopped wow 😳
Liam, why?!😭
He took “you’re insecure don’t know what for” to a whole new level
😭
Oh my goodness 😭 he really needed to search for wisdom in his own archives
Lol
You win😂 this will be quoted forever
I'm not sure it's insecurities... I feel like it's more , I need a career booster... What works these days... Oh yeah superheroes and he-mans ... Let's go for that look then.
I'm sick of this pretty boy to handsome squidward transformation trend. So many guys would pay to have your original face and you just ruin it 😭 it's wild how body image and societal conditioning can brainwash you.
I was just about to say this 😂😂😂😂
Yep!
Societal conditioning. Oof. Say it louder for the slow ones in the back
That's what I'm saying. You can see on UA-cam how many guys are obsessed with "mewing' trying to achieve a jawline like his. And he gets surgery. I mean honestly, the guy was ideal
@@love-ip7sz not really , his jawline before is not what guys are looking for guys want jawline like Henry cavil or Brad Pitt
I hate that softer features are for some reason considered unattractive, especially for men. Liam was really naturally handsome before, his face made him look more approachable and friendly. Now he looks almost not human
Agree and it sucks
Yes. As someone with a soft face I have often felt the pressure to "fix" it but I don't think it's worth the risk. Better to accept what I have.
I wouldn't even consider his face soft it's just not like Brad Pitt level chiseled. But he actually favors Brad Pitt a bit naturally. I mean damn not everyone has sunken in cheeks, he already had a great jawline some guys would kill to have.
Yeah, he looked so much better before. I worry as he ages that his features will look more like Skeletor.
He looks kind of uncanny and weird now. He was so handsome. Why would he do this?
it looks like he asked for the Zac Efron
💀💀💀😂
😂😂😂
I remember I used to think Liam was the cutest out of 1D when I first became a fan in the 8th grade it’s sad that he wanted to change his looks but I hope he’s happy and understands he didn’t even need these procedures he was beautiful naturally
i agree he looked so attractive
me too, he was def the cutest
Same!!!
I agree, and I never got the Harry hype. 🤷🏼♀️ I guess it's subjective. But yeah it's a shame he didn't think he was attractive or manly looking enough.
I am joining to you.
I feel like some people have excessive money on their hands and don’t know what to do with it lol
exactly!
Please, please please, let yourself fully grow into your adult form before you go making any life altering changes to your face/body.
yes its crazy how much your appearance changes from 5-10, 10-15, 15-25, and then 25-30 for me! I am 27 this year and ive grown into my ears and nose
Wait til you reach over 40! For me, I notice changes in my face every 4 years. I had a lot of fullness in my face until early 40s when I was getting the most compliments and men chasing me! Lol. All downhill after 46 for me!
Not a crazy evil scarecrow from hell! Lmaooooo 😂
@@betbea7900 If you ask me, sounds like your life vastly Improved after 46 lololol 🤣💀
@@KennyBunions watch out…I like to lurk in cornfields 😏
The pressure these guys must feel to do this to themselves is unbelievable.
So many more people get work done than spoken about
Good
@@SuperSouthchick ????
It’s not pressure but insecurities that are being fed now
@@piccolaradge8333 can be both. But I agree with you. The media are the main catalyst into sparking and driving these insecurities.
He’s mouthing into Simon cowell, this is a great example of don’t fix what’s not broken
my instinctive reaction both to him and to zac has been why would you ever want to do that to yourself if you were so perfect to begin with. feminine features are very attractive to many, and they are even popular if you think of k pop for example. but at the same time i do think they both have underlying issues that they hope to fix by changing their looks
His underlying issue is Harry Styles.
The K pop feminine male look isn't very popular in the USA/UK
@@kylerBD not to men, maybe
I was just saying that kpop, femboys, androgyny etc are rather popular with the new generation of women, no matter where
looks similar to what zach efron did
I know a 'weak chin' can affect some men but I don't think his chin was 'weak' at all. Plus he has a long face and a square forehead which helps.
Now he's looking like a BD super hero
Also don't think he had a weak chin at all. It was a really good chin proportional to the rest of his face. Now his jaw looks so sharp but in the it would hurt me if I touched it because it just doesn't look natural at all. I mean it's his face and only he has to like what he sees in the mirror but I think he looks like Handsome Squidward and that's not a great look in my opinion.
Yes, everything was in balance. And now he looks too chiselled
Hes now looks like a male bratz doll with that face.
😂
nah male bratz don't look that crazy
In my eyes he was absolutely perfect before any changes. It’s sad that he felt he needed to change. He reminds me of Richard Madden from the tv show The Bodyguard now.
You mean Game of Thornes lol
I'm still weeping for Zac Efron's face.
@@dawnhunter2558 He really was so beautiful 😭
@@xiomyra1 He played in both shows.
@@xiomyra1 The changes he's made (implants/filler) would still be largely reversible if he wanted (I wave my flag of hope). I think he desperately wants to be less pretty without realizing his prettiest feature is his EYES. Poor kid. Also you know he's been SA'd by gross men... maybe it is a shield to get away from that, who knows.
i think he was the most attractive band member after Zayn 🤷🏻♀️ he looked good, this new plastic surgery is terrible i’m sorry
Same!
None of them were good looking except zayn. And that’s the case now as well. No matter how many surgeries he gets he will never reach the beauty of zayn
