Here's Bokyung Byun performing "Una Limosna Por El Amor de Dios" (also known as "El Ultima Tremolo") by Agustín Barrios Mangoré on a Wolfgang Jellinghaus "La Romantica" model made with spruce for the soundboard and maple for the back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.

That tremolo is pretty much honed to perfection. She plays with such good tone and natural feel. Her tremolo is beyond good technique - it's very rare to hear it completely under musical command.
Utterly amazed at the tremelo! So expressive, so hauntingly beautiful.
I heard her play this live in Park City, Utah a few years back on a different instrument. I have played and listened to classical guitar as an amateur for over 30 years. I sat in the audience and literally wept at the beautiful interpretation of this piece. I have never heard it performed better. Thanks for giving me another opportunity to hear this. I am a fan for life.

Un trémolo muy limpio, muy bonita interpretación con sensibilidad de mujer. Barrios, compositor latinoamericano muy religioso, de ahí sus temas,, felicitaciones!
She is very musical! Ability to project notes! Listen to 1:55 to 2:14 how she slow down the tremolo and let the tune pick up again, 2:40 she did a vibrato on the tremolo amazing! Guitar Salon International recording was excellent.
I'm honestly more impressed by the legato chord shifts with minimal string noise.
All that beautiful elegance ending with the chord many people learn as their first. How fitting :)

I am no good at tremolo but I listen and I practice. This is a wonderful delightful tremolo.

You are on to something. But a little dissonance can be musical and evocative.
Yes, but only a little bit, probably because she is using new strings. This is a very common issue for classical guitar. Most classical guitar listeners learn to ignore it.

Ehh. Lovely piece and beautiful performance but i am sure guitars in the time of Sor did not at all sound like that. This is the typical modern sound. Nothing against it but it’s not the romantic period guitar
