OMG, the stories of the slave trade just gets worse and worse. I can't imagine how people can do this to other humans.
@rubylively4958. That's because they are not human my dear. The hate they have for us is unimaginable.
✊🏽
@@35spokezdrop those hands, because those things don't matter anymore, people no longer have rights to do something like that.
And besides..... Your forefathers had the guts to sell their offspring
After all this they now introduced bible
Sad, And we have rappers saying things like I got lotta whips like a slave
How sad what some people have been through in this world just the thought of being in there and not being able to get out is terrifying slavery was this world greatest atrocity
These people have done so much evil to us it is simply unbelievable. Lord have mercy on us we are in the hands of the devil 😈This is heartbreaking 💔
So touching😢
Then tomorrow someone will tell me that the person that did dis kind thing to his fellow human being has good plan for Africa hmmmm African wake up

Those look like just concreate pontoon, purpose to have a deck to load and off load good. I agree maybe stubborn slave to would be out inside but that wasnt it purpose. With 30 people in there most would die, who would want to reduce
his cargo, before its carried away.
Are you really serious right now? the bridge is named the bridge of no return for a reason
@@wowneche you need the think deeper, the bridge is made of the pontoons right, the pontoon were not really made for the slave but as base for the bridge. Then someone found it genius to punish stubborn slaves. My point is the pontoon are the foot (foundation) of the bridge, you presented it as the pontoons were made to hold slaves thats were we differ
@phillthedrill Let me tell you more about the bridge and where it was built
This is the bridge of no return in Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom state Nigeria
Slave merchants used this town to transport slaves from south eastern and south southern region of Nigeria because of it close proximity to Atlantic Ocean
This bridge was built by Eauropean slave merchants in 1795 to make it easier to transport slaves not goods
One basketball coach in the NBA you might know him Imeh Udoka have traced his ancestry to this town Ikot Abasi
@@wowneche again you missing my point, i never denied the reason why it was built and its purpose. My argument is on the purpose of the pontoons which is the base of the bridge, which is if the pontoon are not there, the bridge wouldnt be there, meaning the main purpose of the pontoons was not holding slaves but a base for the bridge, though i agree with you that slaves were put there as punishment etc, but the number being 30 to be hold there even for 24hrs they would die, a smaller number i would agree, why i deny 30 people is that no one would risk to have even one slave die when its about to transported to cash out . Even slave were seen as goods
@@phillthedrill
You are in denial.
Terrible.
