Still one of the all time greats. Magnificent from the moment they landed. Hugh Cornwell is highly smacked-up in this clip. Looks strung out, slurs a bit. But he had and still has star quality. Baz Warne is a better guitarist and a much more rounded front man Dunno what the future holds. Dear Dave has gone, RIP; Jet is surely retired by now, Jean-Jaques can pick and choose his projects; Baz always seems to enjoy touring. Ah well. I love 'em. And Im proud to be a fan-in-black.
I agree with all that you write. I'm far more optimistic about the group's future after seeing this superb recent concert for French TV. I'm with you there! Went to see them in Sept 78 on B&W tour and they were electric (and full of attitude) and to this day it's my fave album
