It is always a tragedy when someone dies and Alexei Navalny's death, particularly at such a young age is no exception. May God rest his soul. But an underlying tragedy associated with this is how the mainstream media and others are portraying his life and exploiting his death. There were approximately 20,000 people who came to give their last respects to someone with whom they resonated, they had every right to do so and there were no arrests made (as western media claimed would happen) or violence in Moscow. However, one must take into account that out of a city of 13,000,000, this corresponds to only 1.5% of the population in Russia's most "liberal" metropolis. That is roughly the same level of support Navalny had at the very pinnacle of his political career. The simple fact is, no matter how hard the media tries to spin this, Alexei Navalny was never a formidable presence or factor to be contended with in Russia. Up until the time of his death, most Russians had never even heard of him.
@@MsDani899 I was aware of approximately 90 arrests in other parts of Russia, but thank you for this information concerning Moscow. Whenever there is a large gathering, there are bound to be those who get boisterous enough to be detained. Things of this nature happen everywhere, not just in Russia.

Putin remember we will all die one day and the legacy left behind defined how Russia will always remember you. A martyr just left the stage may he rest in peace.
A CIA asset and a western puppet serves their own interest and not the Russian Culture. Tell me how good is america now? Navalny better fits of a traitor rather than a martyr. If they have succeeded destroying Ukriane by putting a puppet, trying that to Russia is like shooting the farthest star in the universe. Better mind you own business.
😂😂😂😂
Good interview. Excellent appraisement of the Russian state of mind. Their mindset is what has to change. Russia has never been a democratic state, and never will until that mindset is changed. I agree, what we have seen here and what any returning Russians will do when they do (if?) do so will hopefully be a huge wave of change. IF that happens, China is going to feel very alone in the world!

He and the crowd could have overthrown the regime but they failed to support him at a dire moment.
Навального поддерживали 2-3 процента населения. Из них большая часть подкупленные. Оставшаяся часть населения или плевать хотела на Навального или считает его врагом страны

Nah, Pootin wouldn't say his name, because he is afraid of Navalny. Plane and simple. He'd deny saying his name out loud to a point that it is laughably ridiculous...
Quite right. Isn’t it pathetic how Putin and his henchmen are afraid of FLOWERS!!!
It must be soooooo painful for the police to need to surpress innocent citizens who only desire freedom and an opportunity to have a decent life ☹️😒😢🤢😵💫😖
When so violently suppressed for so long I feel it's inevitable as people see a lost opportunity with Navalny's death. Tragic.
May the good Russian people find a way! 💔🕊️
The start of the end for Putin - and decades overdue.
RIP Alexei, your memory will live on long after people have forgotten the dictator in the Kremlin.
Putin will have to answer to the lord
Unfortunately that doesn't help the people of Russia, nor Ukraine, nor anywhere else that putin is causing violence and suffering
These pple are very brave!
Нет! Они глупые и продажные!
He is still very popular and navalny had only 3% support not really liked that much
according to the (always lying) Kremlin, you krembot
No political opposition has more than 3%, so what’s new? If they get persecuted, poisoned, imprisoned, what are their chances?
You're partially right. He had around three percent in twenty seventeen , and in twenty twenty Levada center said he had twenty percent. Imagine will be higher now After putin killed him.. The medics that picked up the body from the prison said the head and body were bruised pretty obvious.
Navalny had 3% support because that’s the number Putin chose …just like Putins number is in the 80s or 90’s
Putin’s number is 666
I encourage the people of Russia to not be afraid to go out and go for a change you want,,, God bless you all. Pray to God Jesus watching you to fight you want to change, love your country ❤💜♥️🙏🏿🙏🏿🌍😇Amen in Jesus mighty name Amen🙏🏿💜💙♥️
У себя в стране призывай! А в нашу страну не лезь! Все на выборы за Путина! Наш президент!
Easy to say from the outside. You can get 15 yrs in prison if you call the Ukrainian war a war.

What are you talking about ?
Одурманенный народ. Не понимающий последствий если бы этот ""любимец"" разошелся на свободе. Тут нет других вариантов. Со всеми так будет, если Родина будет в опасности.
Once you have been oppressed for so long expect people will rise up and bring all their sentiments in the street. The past history speaks for itself. People power will always grow to fight their freedom and democracy. You will not underestimate the power uprising.
Russians don't revolt. They did once. Russian Revolution and what did they get: the worst dictatorship of all, Stalin.
@sabliqueshazaar6327-- In a video I saw earlier, some arrests were made at the funeral
@@MsDani899 I was aware of approximately 90 arrests in other parts of Russia, but thank you for this information concerning Moscow. Whenever there is a large gathering, there are bound to be those who get boisterous enough to be detained. Things of this nature happen everywhere, not just in Russia.
These people are doing something very brave
By coming together and marchin
Please Lord protect them
My deepest condolences beautiful brave woman your COURAGE was handed over to your beloved son Alexei, he inherited that wonderful gene: COURAGE.
Know he will never be forgotten his face/message will go down in history for all eternity. Rest in eternal peace Alexei Navalny your work on earth done.✝
The russian people are so brave but they look scared too. Control is not leading ❤
Tell me something about USA 😂
@@justincase3426most Americans don’t even partake in free elections nor protests, but some Karen’s and Toms like to be super condescending towards Russian people who can go to jail, have their kids taken away, receive large fines, get tortured, etc for even holding up a blank sign in protests for censorship.
As dumb as when these same Karen’s and Tom’s belittle Russian people for not protesting against the war a certain way, when they live in the country that most engages in illegal wars in the world….& the dictator doesn’t erase that.
If things don’t change they stay the same power to the Russian people in their struggle for democracy 🙏
Putin must be shocked by this outpouring of grief. Unthinkable that anyone should challenge the authority of a dictator.
Димакратия,это просто слово,свободней России нет страны

His poor wife and family weren't even able to attend.

@@AdrienneReneau-ky4sc yes, his mother and father were there. Incredibly brave people, considering that putin was threatening her so much, and didn't want a public funeral.

SO..tell us Vlad...What did the people of Russia do when they grew weary of Czar Nicholas II ?
I wonder how many of those policemen actually wanted to be with the crowd and pay respects to Navalny, I imagine quite a number of them, or at least more than Putin would expect.
i notice majority of this brave people seem very intelligent ordinary citizens not people who adore criminals these people hopefully will be the foundation of a better Russia and they deserve to one day live free and prosper somehow i get the feeling each one of them are like Navalny himself.
