Many biotech companies pay paltry salaries. That is the first thing that has to be changed or India's best talent will go abroad. It has already happened and is happening and will continue to happen if they don't pay well. BTW: @caleb: thank you for this very informative video :)
Hey Namritha, I think salaries are a big issue for almost every industry in India. But do biotech companies pay lower than companies in other industries in general? I know, biotech space was not really thriving and a lot of young graduates were even having problem securing jobs until a couple of years ago? Hope that things are changing now.
