Nice Victorinox-Spartan. BTW it’s pronounced fleur. The S is silent in French. They were about a $100 a box before the crazy price hikes from 3 years ago. I have always preferred Shorts over Mille Fleurs and they were about the same price. Shorts may be the best Partagas bang for the buck in all sizes.

I try to be as down to earth as possible, i think I was aware about the silent s - but I think I was making a clumsy attempt to pluralize them 🙂 I completely agree with you about the Partagas shorts. To me, the shorts are in a totally different category than the Mille Fleurs. I had a 50 cabinet of the shorts from 2011 that was wonderful - very complex w/ sweet & floral notes. To me was hands down the best Minuto! Recently, I’ve been dabbling in the el principe which is pretty different but interesting when good. Either of the two last me much longer than 45min. Mille Fleurs is delicious. Excellent construction and burn as you've stated, and the flavor notes are gorgeous. Huge smoke output for this vitola and the flavor notes are amazing. Nuances of coffee, peanut, cream with a hint of vanilla - all tied in with a nice undertone of honey that coats the palate and leaves you wanting more. These are almost up there with Monte No.4
Have a pack of 25.. The taste is amazing, the construction not so much, very typical for Cubans... A lot of them have bad draw.. and even cigar poker couldn't help
