(Forbidden) also is to use arrows seeking luck or decision, (all) that is Fisqun (disobedience of Allah and sin). But as for him who is forced by severe hunger, with no inclination to sin (such can eat these above-mentioned meats), then surely, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Whether you agree with Islam or not (or whether you believe it to be true or not) is a different argument. This was never the point I raised. My point was to not judge Islam based on the actions of Muslims.

If God is perfect and he created us then it is natural to BELIEVE that he has a perfect way of life for us. And as Muslims this is what we believe. Islam encompasses everything and provides guidance from the way (and what) we eat to the way we sleep. This is why I said Islam is perfect.
Now to answer your question "Why is your interpretation of it correct?" - first of all I never once said it is my interpretation. To understand Islam you need to go to the Quran first and foremosst then to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (who is the walking Quran - a perfect follower) then to the learned people and the Scholars (as the Quran instructs us to). This is where we should get our knowledge and understanding from.
When trying to understand the Quran, The Scholars use foundational verses and try to see if their understanding (interpretation) fits in with those verses.
Now if you disagree with something in Islam we can discuss it but I can already tell that you will be judging Islam based on what ISIS do. Just FYI, from my knowledge the things people disagree with in Islam is mainly due to lack of understanding and some of things are not even associated with (or teachings of) Islam.

i would also add to why men and women both can not be allowed to marry more than one.
because suppose i have 4 wives, each of them have 4 husbands and each of their 4 husbands has 4 wives... = mess...
there could only man or woman be allowed to marry more than one. and there are many reasons for men to be the better candidate for it.
If this guy want the women to married more then one men why he do t start with his family ? Start looking for multiple men for his sisters or for his own girlfriend.?

It also establishes decency and modesty in men. For me, as a Muslim, I have no justification for cheating. I have the right to marry another wife, what justification do I have in front of Allah.

@City Of Charles Dirt No, But I suppose you do. Any legal professional can give you the workaround. I am not saying that it is a legally recognized marriage. Then again If I do a sharia marriage ( two witnesses, provide the dowery and have a small feast for the close family) then go on with my life whos going to prosecute me. Whos going to come along and ask me why I have two homes. legally I compare it as same-sex marriage before it was recognized by the state. So 20 years ago a gay couple could live with each other without the fear of prosecution but their status isnt legally recognized. Isnt it ungodly to recognize same-sex marriage and prohibit something that is permitted in most religions.
BTW is there anything in the bible that prohibits polygyny (multiple wives) as opposed to polyandry (multiple husbands), or is it a church teaching?
