I see there is an updated model now, Mobile Pixels Trio 2.0. That comes default with two screens, has options for either magnets or clip on frame, is cheaper at $400 on for both screens on their US site. I can't find a single review though on this newer model so you could be first one if you want to do an update :)
I just got mine - for both sides - and I wish I had seen your video before buying. I was only looking for instructions on how to add the second screen, but your video taught me so much more. Thank you!
So funny. I figured out how to mount my Trio Max on my own too because the guide didn’t give me the desired result. I have a 16” laptop and it fits perfectly if you put the magnets on the monitors first and place it like you did. Such an easy install.
That was amasing! Thanks for great video:) Do you need two usbc ports on the pc, or can you connect the two portables with each other? My computer got usba and hdmi, so it should work with adapter..? Always thought that usba was for data and charging only, but you can actually use it for screen as well?
Hey! thanks for the review! Can you please tell me when you're setting up the 3 screens, do you need to have 2 USBs in use? 1 for each screen or can it use just one cord for 2 of them? Also, connecting the sceens to a USB A - USB C adapter work for the screens if my laptopl doesn't have enough connections? Thanks!
Hey Carmine, yes you do need to use two USBs but you can use USBA or USBC since it comes with both. I have this 3 way USB amzn.to/3iMrMC1 and it works great with it. I got that since I never have enough USBs on my laptop
Justin can you test the MSI Meg Aegis ti5 with the i9? I’d love to see a review except it costs about 12000$ in Australia, but I’m not sure about American dollars.
Looks ok. I have the Oiiwak 14 inch. Its got a 1920x1200 res, and made of light aluminum, NOT plastic. There is also a kickstand for the back. FIts 13 to 16 inch laptops
I have a questions, you had that issue with the magnets due to the laptop size? I'm thinking of buying one additional screen for 14inch, and I'm not sure how I should eventually do it, not to mess it up. Fail is not affordable, as I won't have the option to replace the stickers. Suggestions are appreciated.
P.S. @justintechtips You can swivel the monitors backwards to make a triangle for conference room presentations. You just have to be careful you don’t break the hinge.
did you try any racing/driving games with the 3 screens? I was wondering how it works when the 2 extra screens are smaller than the middle screen, does it still work well in games?
I'm having an issue with mines... I purchased this exact model but as I connected the usb type c on to my laptop I only get a "Please Wait" and nothing else happens... I've already installed the drivers plus the manager app for it but still getting the same screen...
Honestly if they made the duo have the kickstand like the trio version now has i would buy it b/c i really dont want magnets on my computer b/c idk feels like a laptop company can just say oh well its the magnets causing the damage and make my warranty void. So im gonna abstain from this product and i dont want it on the side i would rather it actually attach to the back of my laptop with a kickstand then with magnets. Plus i am on a 17in laptop as well
Haven't seen his video yet. What was the main thing that he didn't like about the one that he got? Main thing I was frustrated with was the semi false advertising by making it sound like a 17" laptop could handle two screens. Unfortunately it can't reach far enough on a 17" laptop for you to be able to see all of the screen without them getting cut off on the sides. Works great for just one extra monitor attached to a 17" laptop screen. I think 16" laptops and below should be fine in 3 screen mode though
@@JustinTechTips ua-cam.com/video/ugtntRVMqFo/v-deo.html this the vid i was talking about but it turns out this model was an rip off and the real one is this one (was on short curcit): ua-cam.com/video/EUyaRYMzxEk/v-deo.html
I have had this trio max set up for a couple of years. Good concept but need more work. I hate the magnets and the weight of the monitors broke one of the hinges on my laptop. Plus the magnets are not strong enough to hold the monitors on to the laptop unless you support it on a table or something. The monitors work fine though If they fix those issues I will buy again.

Does this have some sort of kickstand so the laptop monitor doesn’t just flop down when tilted due to the extra weight of the trios?
Bro give this guy a month or so and he’s gonna have more than a lil subs trust me
I meant mil autocorrect screwed the sentence up
That was amasing! Thanks for great video:)

Thank you for amazing review. It was done well and was very informative.
Justin, when do you think the 4090s are going to be in the laptops?
I wish I knew, It doesn't seem like there is a definitive timeline for that right now. I do know they are working on it though

The background wall❤ did you made or purchase it and where? It’s so cool
Does the weight tilt the lap top back requiring a kickstand?
What about 14" laptop? Should i buy trio max or just trio?
It's always the cables that gives us nightmares

Question, I have a surface 8. Would this be compatible with that?

Justin, do you still have the discount code? it shows invalid
Do they need drivers?
You gonna be reviewing the alienware r15?
Can it play games using all three screens
It doesn't work with my Lenovo, I think the magnets keep it in sleep.mode
does anyone know if there are triple screen that support 4k? (well basically it's 2 + your own laptop screen)
There should also be one on top

Check the Mobile Pixels Trio 2.0 that has now a clip on frame instead of the magnets (though they are sitll an option)

Unbiased, sure, then 7 and 20 secods after you clearly say that buying them helps you... :/
Well yeah but he could have recommended any of the models out there. I think the point is he recommended this one specifically without being paid to.
Linux compatibility????
I feel like nvidia is gonna take back everyone’s 4090 and “fix” them then send them back with a fee of like that 1,000 dollars?
But what If I absolutely need 6 monitors.
Broski is gonna turn into a fly
Can i enter the giveaway
Its too pretty small laptop.....❤️

nice!
Can you review the new meta quest pro? I know it's very expensive but I would love to watch the video you can make with it.
