Aren’t we suppose to choose U which is minimum of U1,U2 i.e. U=min[U1,U2] instead of deciding the value of U by number of samples? there might be a mix up with Wilcoxon Rank sum test. Can someone put some light on it? Thanks

And if H0 is accepted then H1 will be rejected, only one can be accepted at a time

n1 and n2 are 12 , not 14. So your answer is coming wrong.
And hypothesis is there is no difference between regular sale and sale after free sample
