I mentioned it for the fold 4 - 1200 nits. The reason the iPhone section was longer was because apple has 3 different numbers to report - sdr,hdr,outdoors - so it’s more complicated. Hope that helps.

The iPhone looks positively old by Samsung standards. I have always had a candy bar but since getting the fold 4 I would never go back. Samsung actually improve and innovate and things will only get better. As of now the z fold 4 is the pinnacle of design and innovation

@@joaoroman9583 I don’t even waste my breathe arguing with iphone users anymore. To them the z fold is a gimmick and S22 Ultra is no different than a cheap galaxy A series device. I have an iphone a secondary/work device but my main phone is my 22 Ultra. I had the fold 3. Great device and cant wait to try Android 12L with its improved optimization on the fold 4 within the next month.
The iPhone looks old fashioned even compared to other candybar devices. The S22 Ultra looks modern.

I've on Samsung for 12 years and i own a 13 Pro since March and Poco F4 since July.
Right now, you can't compete with smooth and battery life of iPhone and aesthetic.
But on, Multitasking with Split Screen, Back Gesture, Dual App mode, iPhone can't compete with Samsung+Androïd. And Android+Windows work well too.
A lot of people are stuck in older vison or OS.
I daily use iOS and Android without any problem and i think Android is more complete.
No Wow effect with iPhone, i still can't go to the moon with it.😅
Was a die hard apple user since the first iPhone, switched to the fold 4 for my work and I can honestly say I will never go back. It is just a whole new level of experience with this beast.

my issue with apple is that they treat features that I've had on Samsung for years, as a new concept that nobody else has thought about. You'll see apple users swarming the apple stores like it's disney. We went to pick up my spouses iPhone 14 which was confirmed to be physically at the store and already paid in advance but the clowns wouldn't give it to us because their servers didn't say "ready for pickup" we waited outside until it updated then we were allowed to have it. Apple is getting too comfortable with taking advantage of uneducated elderly people and younger people who buy it because of trendy advertising
Yup androids been having way more features and customization for years, iPhone just added widgets....Android has had widgets since they first came out with the G1. And everyone on the iPhone band wagon is so surprised about widgets that have been already invented by android lol

Sold my iphone, apple watch, and iPad pro..to the zfold 4, Samsung watch, and s8 ultra tablet. I don't regret the decision one bit. Just now looking to sell my imac and apple tv and buy a Samsung smart tv and the Samsung m8 smart monitor.

@danielpacheco9519 ecosystem does matter, at least to me. with the samsung ecosystem i can easily control my samsung tv, oven, dyer, etc, using my phone or tablet. the compatibility makes it more seamless.
Dude, you haven't realize yet that being hooked into one brand and doind what you just did is silly? And I have the zfold 3, using it now (and i use a Mac). They don't talk about the screen protector delamination issue that many have had. It's not great, mine's had it twice. So durability of the fold is really unknown.
In many countries fold 4 is about same price as ip14 pro max. Fold 4 is a much better choice value and is the best new experience phone.
I had all iphones since iphone 6, I also had almost all Notes from Samsung, same mobile design, the last 15 years, I'm so tempted to try something completely different now with the Fold 4

I'm very happy with my S22 Ultra, But if I had to choose between the iPhone and Fold, the Fold would win. I've had a Note series since the Note 4 and I gotta have my S-pen. Apple only offers a stylus on iPads. I do have and iPad 9th gen and Apple Pencil which I like very much. If I were going to upgrade my tablet if would be to an iPad Pro. There are several apps that are iPad exclusives like the app for my Roland VR-730 keyboard I'm sitting behind in my profile pic. I like the size of the Apple Pencils as opposed to the smaller S-Pen, for a tablet. Fine for a phone but too small for a tablet I think. I've looked at the new Samsung tablets and they look and feel good, but other than Sammy, Goog has ignored the Android tablet market for years until recently. So I've read. Just not impressed with Android tablets and their short OS lifespans.
I think Samsung is underestimated when it comes to software updates. Yes, updates take longer to arrive, and yes, their phones aren't supported for quite as long as the iPhone. But you quite often see features released in newer models trickle down to older devices, whereas Apple is extremely anal retentive with new features on older phones.
Yes, Samsung has improved a lot with software, so we should acknowledge that.

@@sruj33 My S22U has been power throttled after the last few updates, so it is getting around 20% less than other SD8G1 phones. So Samsung has def slowed this down. I suspect they were caught out when they used GOS, so now do it at the Kernel level. Most people won't notice it, but tested in benchmarks and Genshin, you will; the S22U has the worst FPS than any current 2022 flagship.
Conversely, the iPhones have improved performance nicely with iOS 16.
So, you are posting fake news, and Samsung is seemingly the ones that slows devices down.

On YT, techie people are into multitasking, but outside YT it is not a big thing. I never use split-screen; I bought a BIG phone for BIG typeface, not to make tiny screens. So multitasking is a bit overrated. That is probably why iPhones sell 10X more than the Galaxy S line.

Great video. I love having options. I'm a Samsung user myself, since I love their innovations. They're always ahead of everyone, even though it takes them years to iron out all the bugs.
I was previously a hardcore iPhone user, but switched to Android due the the screen and software provided by the first Galaxy S phone, the Epic 4G.
While Android was never as smooth as iOS and the software was always behind, several Android phone manufacturers always pushed new innovations that were just far ahead of what Apple was ever willing to try. That's the main reason I stuck with Android.
With that said, the iPhone itself was revolutionary back in 2007. Apple never felt the need to push the envelope, since they already had a high end product and ecosystem that was second to none. Everything just worked as advertised.
Fast forward to 2022, and with OS fluidity being pretty much equal, Apple has remained stagnant. Things have been iterative for years. They know their customers, and therefore know their customers will buy the same phone every year with minor updates. Everything just works, and works well. This is fine for most people.
However, if you're a tech geek like most of us, the Z Fold 4 is in a league of its own. It feels like a futuristic device, not just in design, but also in innovation. It's already spawned a handful of copycats.
The fact that I can fit a 7.6 inch tablet in my pocket is mind-blowing. Much like Google Wallet in 2010 on the Galaxy Nexus, everyone will eventually copy the tech, and then people will appreciate it years later. The same was true for the Galaxy Gear in 2013.
It all comes down to preference.

I am 60 years old music lover, few years back i decided to get the Apple ecosystem, 11 pro 512 gt, AirPods 3 and pro. most of my music is AIFF quality. The Fold is very interesting, i have iPad pro 11 inch for reading, learning and i really like multitasking with it. Fold seems very capable for multitasking. iBooks and Kindle are very easy to use and i do not have to pay any monthly payment buying for example audiobooks. What if Fold could be little wider and little lower?

I'm fortunate to have both the Z Fold 4 for work and the iPhone 14 Pro Max (13 Pro Max prior) for personal. The unity of Apple products with the Watch, Airpods, iPad, and IOS updates just make it a perfect everyday phone for me, with fairly great cameras I can use when I'm out with friends and family. The Z Fold 4 just crushes in terms of innovation and multi-tasking with the apps I need for work. The fact that I can fit a mini tablet in my pocket to look at more information on a bigger screen is just really beneficial. Truly feels like I have the ability to work without taking out my laptop. Both have been great for their intended purposes, and I will stick to this combination until Apple makes their own Folding tablet phone.
I highly doubt that Apple will introduced a folding iPhone. They don't see the need to include that to their highly successful iOS devices. I kinda don't want to see Apple doing that as they'll botch it if they do.

5 years of security updates and 4 years OS updates is more than enough. Longer support is just marketing. Apple IS a marketing company.
Fold is way ahead of iPhone. iPhone is not even in the same class as Fold. iPhone should be compared with S22 Ultra. Even then it'll get blown away by the S22 Ultra features. iPhone is a mediocre product that lacks advance features compared to other rival products available at a cheaper cost.

As someone who does customer service on the phone all day, the whole "iOS is easier to use" is COMPLETE BS. I constantly need people to email me photos and docs, and customers who need help never have an issue figuring out how to reply to the email and send it to me with an android whereas customers with iPhone STRUGGLE and more often than not elect to get a family member to help. Something as basic as attaching a file in an email people non tech natives can't figure out on an iPhone. Stop spreading these lies about the software being easier to use. We were in a video chat the other day and there was a game we were playing that you had to scan a qr code to get into. Two of the older agents needed help figuring it out as they had never seen a qr code before, more people in the chat had an iPhone than android and STILL the rep with the Samsung got in while the rep with the iPhone NEVER did, she ended up sending her answer for the game to someone else to input for her.
I am not sure why people keep saying this nonsense as well. For people that don't dive deep into settings, both phones are easy to use out the box. iPhone's lack of customization is somehow considered an ease of use feature. I literally haven't switched the layout on my iPhones in years because it's a pain, while I set up each Android devices exactly how I want depending on the size and form factor.
How do you not get wireless charging with that case. All you have to do is slide the S Pen Holder out for the case to sit on the charger flat🤦🏿

@@krisk3363 I’ll take that two hour difference rather than see a cutout even more visible now than the notch. That cutout which only works in portrait mode blocks controls during gaming and information so having to rotate still blocks other features. Don’t even say watching video is fine. Once the hype dies down that feature surrounding that cutout it will just be another force touch

I looked on eBay in the UK, and as soon as you walk your Fold4 out of the store, it is worth 33% less, so terrible depreciation. No discounts on iPhones, though.
I'll never understand why so many UA-camrs are evidently afraid to even say that the Z-Fold 4 is better than the iPhone 14 in their reviews. There's really no comparison between the two, especially when you see just how much functionality the Z-Fold 4 has over the iPhone. It's not a case of "they're equal in different ways," No the iPhone is objectively inferior. And since when has the iPhone EVER been focused on "simplicity"?

I got 1000 discount from the flash sale samsung is having plus traded my iPhone 12 Pro Max and only spending 1500 original price was 2.5 grand on the Samsung fold 4, and I looked up at iPhone 14 pro max even when my phone trade it was almost 2 grand still super expensive.

Hey Sagi, great video! Probably a stupid question, but on the Fold 4, how do you get UA-cam to display content that way? With more content on the screen, rather than just 1 video option at a time with linear scrolling? I'm using a Fold 4 and mine is looking like regular UA-cam, just expanded. What is setting that you've changed? I've tried tweaking multiple settings but I can't seem to come up with the right thing. Any help that you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Ive noticed that if I adjust the zoom in display settings then I can see more content in the UA-cam app (as well as other apps). I realize how dumb and obvious that probably sounds lol, it unfortunately the text is all smaller now too

I was an iphone user since 2015 and was loving it so much! But recently I was so intrigued by the foldable phones. Although I so loved the iphone and ios ecosystem, I tried to consider buying the fold 4 due to its uniqueness and novelty compared to all smartphones out there on the market. Then I started to watch reviews on youtube and other articles and I went to a number of samsung stores just to try the phone first hand. I was loving the phone so far based on the reviews. But then I am still torn between buying iphone 14 pro max and galaxy z fold 4. After a lot of thinking and watching reviews, I finally got myself the fold 4 mainly because of the tradein and flexible payment terms. And oh boy, it didn’t even last me 48 hours to regret my decision. I was so disappointed because from a price that high for a smart phone, it still has a lot of issues and limitations. For me, it still feels like too experimental as of the moment that there’s a lot of issues and inconsistencies on the UI and functionalities. The attempt is really good, but I would say for now, it isn't still perfected yet compared to the normal phones. I even thought I could’ve bought the s23 series over these foldable phones. This review of mine is at least based on my own use case and might not be the same for all people out there. This might be just nitpicking for the many but it is a dealbreaker for me.
I've been using the iphone for that long as well but Boost Mobile Boost Mobile had Boost Mobile had the iPhone 12 for199 Reconditioned they were out of it. So I I'm kinda irritated with Boost Mobile, but they did give me the Galaxy S21 for $50 discount. But it's working pretty good. Hey, $50 extra in my pocket.

I think its a matter of a learning curve tbh. Samsung is capable of a lot but It takes a lot of time to get used to how to use it to its potential

I moved from a 13 Pro to the fold 4 and I'm so happy I made the change. Ive tried before this and always went back to Apple, but now, I think I'll never go back! The fold 4 is just and amazing user friendly device.
I used to be an Iphone girl the last was the IPhone 6 then switched to Samsung S Series Until recently Where I upgraded the note 20 ultra to the fold4. When the fold came out in 2019 l instantly wanted It but decided to wait.............On August the 9th this year I received a message from my network Provider saying I could upgrade to the fold 4............I Jumped at the Chance having done some research on the fold 4. That was the most excited i've been about getting a Phone ever. The excitement hasn't changed even a month after Launch day, even just getting a new case for my fold the excitement Starts all over again. Hands down best Phone I've had..............

I’m still debating on the 14pro max or the z fold 4. I have the galaxy tab 8 ultra tablet and I love it.. what’s make it hard to choose is the fact apple gets apps first. I want the Z fold for is functionality like I can do my designs on the go. But there’s no adobe fresco for android (I’m pissed about that).. but I’m leaning more towards the Z-fold 4.. I think it will work better for my work life and personal life
I'm also debating between the two. If you've chosen would you mind telling me which one you decided on and why?

Just stumbled across this channel and I like the videos 😄! I considered the fold 4 as I used to have a galaxy s7 and love Samsung phones but it was just too pricey for me. Even with trade in it would be about $21 for 36 months vs $2 a month for the iPhone 14 pro. My S7 also didn’t last me very long so I’m a bit wary of spending that much on another phone that I expect to last 2 years vs my iPhone XR that was still kicking 4 years later and only upgraded because of a great trade in and switch deal. Plus, as much as I like the idea of having a Samsung phone again, I love the way all my Apple stuff works together + everyone I talk to regularly has iMessage and trying to convince American iPhone users to download another app to message because you have an android is such a pain.

@@TechGearTalk I’m on both ecosystems and I would like to upgrade because apple is making me dance 💃🤣 with temptations… 😈 that purple is calling my name 😈 but for reals my carrier said I am eligible for an upgrade so it was either s22 or something else, so I wondered about the iPhone 13 mini but then might as well wait for the 14 pro max ?
I love the home button I have 256GB and the camera is good enough for me in adequate lighting
I think I would enjoy having the extra lenses for ultra wide and telephoto, and ultimately 256GB isn’t enough for me, I want at least 512GB but favourably 1TB and and upgraded battery life doesn’t hurt but other than that… which the mini 13 or even regular 13 would cover minus the tele lens (I could get a moment lens)
Pro motion would be cool but I mostly watch everything on my iPad Pro 2020 so I don’t need a big screen or anything else, the battery life would be better on the mini 13 but not phenomenal
I wonder if the s22 would cover all these basis but then in reality I do prefer iPhone for video and social media and my huwei mate 10 pro is fine on the android side of things I always carry both around

I have the iphone 14 pro and the Z fold 4 and I can say for the 1st time that the Z fold (after getting animations to 0.5x) is faster than the iPhone 14 pro! Which is a 1st for me that is why I never changed to android but man having this fold and able to game on xbox game pass on that inner screen is so awesome oís basically mi phone and "console"
If you don't mind most of your daily used apps looking weird and cropped out then get the fold but I HATED it

iPhone maybe a quality device but Boring design sick of seeing the same look for decades, ugly large notch , ugly stick out bulky cameras, square edge and so on this is like the iPhone hold the heritage design, like those 100s of years old heritage buildings....

I’ve had both of these phones the galaxy Z fold 3 and the iPhone 13 Pro Max that I’m currently using now and I could honestly say that iPhone got ways to go before it could compete with the Z fold the galaxy is way better in my opinion everything is correct in this video about both of these phones but for slight reasons I’d rather the Z fold over the iPhone
