  • You can finally relax. Float therapy is our specialty! We have private float tanks filled with skin-temperature Epsom salt water, the perfect place to relax and meditate. When you visit a float tank, you renew, refresh, and revive your mind, body and spirit. Floating provides clinically proven benefits including relief from stress and anxiety symptoms, improved workout recovery, pain relief and enhanced focus.
Some visit a float tank to relax and let their minds wander, others visit to work out a problem or overcome a creative block while relaxing weightlessly above Epsom salt water.
You can find one of our float tanks, commonly called sensory deprivations tanks, at float spas throughout the US.

The pod has an automatic cleaning cycle between clients. It is completely professionally hygienic and as fresh as new for each float.

    My concerns are
    1. Do I want to soak in a pod where dozens of other people have been. Though, I hope you clean it well between clients.
    2. I don't think I can close the lid/door. Would feel claustrophobic.
    3. Not crazy about washing my hair without conditioner after though I understand you don't want to get it into the water.
    4. I like the pre and post shower idea. And the pre and post rooms. Not sure if staring at a fire would relax me though.
Ok that's all of my concerns so far, ......

Hey, I work at a float studio elsewhere but here are some answers for your concerns:
1.The tank water goes through a minimum of 4 filtration cycles in most places in the world (it is the standard minimum for all the float tank manufacturers I know of). Most tanks also use a UV light to kill off microorganisms as well as chemical sanitisers that get added daily (usually h2o2 or chlorine). Also it has 500kgs of epsom salt in each tank so not much can survive in there anyway. If you have ever been in a public pool you have been in water not nearly as clean as a float tank.
      2. most places you can keep the lid open, good float studios will warm the room so that you can keep the lid open without getting cold.
      3. not using conditioner before the float probably won't impact you as you'll be getting straight into a float tank so won't notice it much, and then you can use the conditioner in your hair after.
      4. I don't work here so can't speak on the fire thing haha

BeautifulDreamerK You can try the places who have a room and a jacuzzi looking tank and the room is designed to be as if you are in space. Incredible experience. Float, Toronto is just the place for example. Look it up. Good luck on your journey. 🙏🏻💜

my husband had this concern, we are both tall. you can totally stretch out, get out anytime you want and that lid can stay open. Being in your car is far more restrictive. I would suggest a try, chances could be you are afraid of having a bad reaction, but I doubt it will manifest... in about 4 minutes I craved the entire pod closed , even then, I could still sit upright

Mon, the water in our pods are filtered through a 3-stage filtration process before and after each floater. This process includes two bag filters, which filter down to 1-micron and a UV light for added filtering. On top of that, the water and salt in each pod are replenished daily as needed, which means new water is constantly being added to each pod. It would be very wasteful, expensive and time consuming to drain each pod. Each customer showers themselves before entering a pod, so along with the filtration process, the water is absolutely 100% safe, healthy and crystal clear to use.

механическая фильтрация - это мало. вода - один из лучших биоинформационных посредников. Я бы в такую капсулу не пошёл. Не известно кто там был до меня.

What’s the difference between this vs a nice warm bath at home? Other than u be floating because of high salt concentration....... why would I be paying when i can relax at home in a hot tub?

    • @rhiannonh5202
      @rhiannonh5202 11 місяців тому

There is several scientific studies showing the benefits to physical and mental health, they might not work to relax everyone but everyone can atleast benefit physically. It is boosting your magnesium levels so will provide benefits regardless. Tanning beds require light and the tank is also about incorporating sensory deprivation (i.e. no light). Also tanning beds are incredibly damaging and can cause melanoma skin cancer, they've been banned in many countries.
